Just got back from a lovely meal here. We were made so welcome and the food was gorgeous. The lady and gentleman that looked after us were really caring and such nice natured. It felt like we were being served food in a relatives home rather than a restaurant. It was just a great atmosphere. Excellent value for money too,... More

We visited here yesterday as we wanted to try somewhere new and we were pleasently surprised. The food here is gorgeous. We had 6 tapas dishes and loved every single one. Waiter was attentive and friendly. Reasonable prices too which is great as we are students. We will most definitely be returning and trying some different dishes. Would recommend.

We found this little place while wandering around the city. Cosy little cafe/restaurant, very homely feel to it. We just ordered a couple of sandwiches, a coffee and hot chocolate. The drinks were fine. The sandwiches were delicious, we went for Italian chicken and a salmon one. Both were very tasty. Decent prices and friendly staff, definitely give this place... More

Freshly made, delicious food. Enjoyed Pastel De Nata and Raspberry Frangipan with a pot of tea. Pastry cooked perfectly and melted in the mouth. A great place for a light meal or snack.

Great food & wine. All freshly cooked. Relaxing, homely feel to the place if a bit quiet on this visit. It is well worth a punt!!! Reasonable prices for great food all round & with friendly service it was a perfect evening. This was my 2nd visit and I'll definitely go again. Try it you won't be disappointed.

Went here for the first time for the pre theatre menu which was two courses with a glass of wine. It was really nice and the sardines which we both had were lovely. It's quite a small place and the only thing against it was the university union meeting of about seven people on the next table which went on... More

I've been here twice with more than a year in between. The first thing you notice is the warm welcome. The owners and staff are delightful and kind. Then there is the food which is excellent! I really enjoyed my lunch and previously my dinner. Cafe Porto is a bit of a hidden gem, make sure you don't miss out!

We managed to find this from Trip Advisor, and thank the universe we did! The service is excellent, really family friendly, but the food is quite superb, and great value. Love this place, and we will definitely go back the next time we are in the city!!

We stopped by at Café Porto after visiting the Liverpool Philharmonic Situated in a classic, Georgian town house on Liverpool's lovely Rodney Street, Café Porto is understated and informal and intimate. The food is prepared by the owner Pedro, and he understands cuisine and the culture from which he comes. He has a fine understanding of culinary balance - freshness,... More
