Taken here by friends but wouldn’t go again. The building is nice and they make great play of the grade one listed gents toilets - maybe they are but on the evening of our visit the stench hit you as soon as you opened the...More

We stopped here for lunch by chance as the pub is situated between the two Liverpool Cathedrals and is opposite a stop on the ‘hop on / hop off’ bus route. The decor of the pub is amazing with wooden panelled walls, ornate ceilings and,...More

This review refers to the pub, not the dining rooms above. Our experience is always one of surly and impolite staff, dirty and untidy seats and tables with sticky surfaces, regulars getting served ahead of customers waiting, no please nor thank you from any staff...More

A step back in time in the bar areas and also the toilets that are even noted outside, a pity that there is no fresh air in the gents.

We are very dog friendly. The only two areas we don't allow them is the restaurant and the grand lounge. Hope to see you and your dog here soon :)
