If you've walked all around Liverpool and ended up at Albert Dock then you could do worse than drop in here for a bite rather than hike back up into the centre. It's not cordon bleu by any means (think Aberdeen Steak House circa 1975) but perfectly adequate and seems to be the best offering in this vicinity - the... More

Nothing to rave about food-wise but nice helpful staff; we hadn't booked in advance but they found us a table and then apologised when they asked us to move for a large party that was expected. Poor signposting to the ladies toilets though!

Booked a table for 8:00 and we were seated very quickly. The food was beautiful as always (brownie was to die for!!) and the waitress was very friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was the section of tables we were seated in were extremely close together which didn't offer much privacy. On a few occasions we had a... More

Booked this as I was visiting Liverpool and was a celebration of a birthday, I was also recommended by a friend to this chain. I wish I went elsewhere, 15 min wait for 1st encounter by a waitress, a wobbly table and no flex on the menu. I ordered the sharing platter which was nothing to write home about followed... More

Gorgeous food as per Miller and Carter but very busy and bustling - not relaxing when other diners have to squeeze by your seat to get to theirs. It might be that it was busier as we went in December but I prefer to eat somewhere a bit more chilled.

The restaurant is in a great setting on the docks, the views are great. The atmosphere was good, tables are well spaced, you don't feel crowded. The food was great, service was good. The sirloin was delicious and the chips were nice and crispy. Dessert, I had the sticky toffee pudding, was great. Would recommend

Three of us visited, all went for steaks. Sharing platter to start and some pork rolls. The platter was good, the rolls were OK. For the main the steaks were very tasty, as were the accompaniments. Service was swift and friendly.

The two of us turned up at this restaurant a 19.20pm on Thursday 10th March without a reservation. The restaurant looked only a third full, but the man that greeted us said that they were full! Also saying that a lot of people were running late for there booking and that he was keeping their table for another 45 minutes.... More

Visited here before Christmas and food was brilliant so we returned. Had booked a table so seated straight away. We ordered a bottle of wine which took almost 10 minutes to come to table. Starters were very small, 2 small pieces of chicken. And the prawns were 5 average sized ones. Main course was brilliant again cooked perfectly but we... More
