Service was great however I'd like the option of tipping rather than adding a service charge on my bill without asking. The food was ok at best but way overpriced but that's what you pay in tourist locations. Starters were tasty Tomato soup and garlic...mushrooms. The main Braised beef with mash was tasty but certainly not worth a price in excess of £20. The fish and chips should be called batter & chips as there was more batter than fish, a very very small fish. The mushy peas were nice but the curry sauce for an extra £1.50 was runny like water and not worth the extra cost. The chips were quite clearly overdone almost burnt literally to a crisp and I did mention this but was told that's how they always are...so they're always overcooked and burnt? Dessert - Didn't have one so couldn't comment. Drinks....had the cavern club lager it was ok nothing special. Overall we wouldn't go back.More
