Allerton Rd has gone very overpriced these days and good traditional Chinese are few and far between. Used to love going to town for a businessmans but now they seem to have all stopped so was pleased to find Fung Lok still offers theirs. £9.50 for 3 courses is great value nowadays and also love the Chinese tea they serve. The veggie option is veg in a hot bean sauce which is lovely. Nice friendly atmosphere and a great change from the neighbouring places charging £10 for avocado toast, at least you walk away with a full belly!

We came here Sunday lunchtime. It was the first time we'd visited her and it was a very pleasant experience. The 3 course meal deal is excellent value. Starter soups and BBQ ribs/spring rolls were excellent. The mains of Chow Mein and Chicken Curry were very tasty with quality ingredients. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Staff friendly and very efficient without being intrusive. Nice atmosphere although very quiet for a Saturday night. Unfortunately the meals were somewhat bland, particularly the chicken and sweet corn soup and sui mai. Have eaten much better Chinese food on Allerton Road.

Really lovely tasty food. Had the evening before 7pm deal really nice fresh food. Lovely staff and the restaurant is spotlessly clean. Went during Covid restrictions and felt really safe. Would highly recommend and will definitely return. Lovely wine too!

Been coming this restaurant for 20 years plus must be new owners . Disgusting warmed up fatty ribs prawn toast had nothing in it greasy awful told the owner to take it away had banana fritter because I was so hungry food wasn’t edible they still charged me full price .

Such a beautiful welcome and great food on offer. Great that it’s open Saturday afternoon too. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming. And food was beautiful.

Have been here a few times and always enjoyed the food this time though it was jot to be the starter were okay off special menu but the mains left a lot to be desired the kung po sauce tasted the same as the sauce on bbq ribs ( started ) the chicken mushroom was tastless not the least bit of flavour banana fritters were oovely and hot don't thinknill go back in a hurry ill try elsewhere first

recently went with some friends to this restaurant as they had visited in the past (although it was a long time ago ) and we where pleasantly surprised
what a great restaurant
we had a combination of the set meals, the chicken in black bean and the special fried rice
all the meals were nice and hot ,very tasty and good portion size
