First visit today for a late breakfast. Really lovely coffee shop, friendly staff, couldn't fault it at all. I had a sausage ciabatta (amazing!) and chamomile tea. Will definitely be returning for another breakfast or lunch.

Really lovely coffee shop, lots of different rooms so it feels small but is really quite big and has lots of places to sit. I really like that there are little nooks around the place that feel really cosy. The staff were really friendly and...patient with me when it took me some time to decide what I wanted and the latte and cake I had were really nice!More
Whilst I wasn't paying much attention the server took the opportunity to overcharge me, not impressed and I'll not visit again
We were looking for somewhere for breakfast and my son found this charming coffee shop on Tripadvisor!! We weren't sure if we had the right place as it doesn't look much from the outside. It is situated above a closed down shop which is unfortunate...as it doesn't give a great impression at first. However when you get to the top of the stairs you are straightaway bowled over by how beautiful the building is, the owners have kept/maintained all the original features, tiles, architraves etc and it is lovely. We went here for breakfast both mornings of our stay in Liverpool and enjoyed it very much. The staff are very friendly and the menu is varied and food delicious. I couldn't fault the service and value for money and would definitely recommend it. I suppose I do feel it's a pity about the closed shop underneath and I agree with another reviewer that it would be inaccessible for anyone with mobility problems.More
This coffee shop is located in a character building not far from Liverpool One. It is approached by a very steep flight of stairs. There are several separate rooms so search around if it appears that one is full. The coffee is good and the...staff are always very pleasant.More
We dived in here for a quick drink and slice of cake during an Ill fated walk around to find Cilla’s statue, which is away being repaired !. You could almost walk past it as at ground level it is just a doorway. Head up...the stairs however and the place is huge, a large front and back room plus smaller ones along the way. Drinks were good, as was the cake. Service good, toilets clean; what more could you ask for ?.More
Larger than it looks from the outside. Not good for anyone with mobility problems. Food lovely. Staff friendly and accommodating.
You can see that my previous review was a bit deflating (Pre Covid) ..... but now Rococo is back in fun swing and back to five stars. The Cheese on Doorstep Toast and the Vegan Club Toasted Butty all good. So two lunches and two...coffees came to £15 ..... but super tastyMore
We stumbled across here looking for brunch. They do all day breakfast which is just amazing! The poached eggs on avocado toast was absolutely amazing. The coffee was lovely too. You walk in and find a table then order at the till. You are then...given a number and your food is brought to you.More
Found this delightful cafe quite by accident. Gosh - what a gem! You climb the narrow staircase to the first floor of charming rooms with shabby chic decor. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Coffee too was excellent. Love this place for chilling, reading,...meeting up with friends.More
