It's a wonderfully cosy place. The bread, cakes and sandwiches are as close as you'll very get to homemade - maybe even better. Coffee is good and well priced. I for a cafetiere which gave two generous mugs of coffee. You can buy and take...More

This little bakery has got everything right! Delicious bread, cakes and pastries as well as amazing coffee ( a million miles away from the homogeneous sickly stuff offered by the chains). Breakfast and lunch options are thoughtfully prepared with quality, fresh ingredients. The staff are...More

Searched for this cafe after reading about it ages ago, found it in a back street near Kings dock. Gorgeous grilled cheese sandwich and a feta, grilled pepper and pesto sandwich plus two coffees. Good quirky vibe and excellent bread just what we hoped for

Arrived on Saturday morning with several friends, some of whom had been before. Very vintage/ artisan appearance and the bread is in boxes on the wall as you come in. Looks and tastes great, and the smell. Not too wide a range but all well...More

Addicted to this bread after trying it last week. The inside is almost shinny with lots of large air bubbles, not had anything like it before. Bought 1 loaf after having a sandwich in the cafe wish I had bought more as this is the...More

This is solely a review of their bread as I haven’t eaten in there as yet but tempted as the bacon smells fabulous! Quite frankly this is one of the best sour dough breads I have ever tasted. It’s got the texture and the chew...More

OH MY GOD!!! You're right, we should just bake more, I mean I've been baking 12 loaves a day, why not just do a few more. I mean obviously you have a good grasp of our production capacity, the space and equipment we have in...More

We are regulars to this bakery but won't be any more. Went for lunch at the weekend, had chicken sandwich and panzanella salad. A lady in the kitchen who made the sandwich, it was very small, the slices of bread were thin, not much flavours...More

Hi Wayne Thanks for you comment about the salad croutons, that was a problem we identified on Saturday and it was changed, probably after your order, I'm very sorry about this. Perhaps you could have spoken to us about it, we could change the salad,...More

Both my friend and I ordered grilled cheese sandwiches of different types and they were pretty good. I then had one of the cakes they offered and that was the game changer for me-it was delicious. You can have different kinds of jams/marmalades/nutella etc. as...More

Only filter coffee so beware if that’s what you’re hoping for, however it did the job. Liked the look of the menu and previous reviews so I’ll be back to try the food out next time! It was a bit nippy inside which isn’t what...More
