This is our most favourite restaurant in all of liverpool; our family have been visiting for over 40 years and the quality and service has always been incredible! This was my mum's favourite restaurant, she passed away suddenly in 2020 and her name is on...a plaque on the wall in this restaurant; it means so so much to us and I always go and see her name whenever in Liverpool! Cracking Italian food & atmosphere at reasonable value. Highly recommend!! Lasagne is unreal. Went with family in large group - service also excellent.

That we had to queue was a great sign this was something special! It was a real family place with a real buzz and great atmosphere. Not for those who want a quiet evening! Great food selection and it came piping hot with plenty of...it. We both had three courses which were all good. Great value. The staff were really friendly and attentive. We can see why it has been running for over 40 years. If we are ever back in Liverpool we will go back.More

Amazing Italian restaurant in the heart of Liverpool. We went as a small family. Even at 4pm we waited outside for 5 minutes before being allowed in. The restaurant was filling quickly and by 5pm it was pretty packed with a queue forming outside. The...dough balls are like small baps but so delicious. The pizzas were amazing. Best Italian I’ve been to in quite a while. Love this place!!More

The food was nice and we did not have to wait very long however we were still eating our starter when our main meal came and when I said excuse me they walked past me and we had to ask for the bill 3 times,...I had to ask for bbq sauce also 3 times and the second person said they didn't have it. Arrived at 5pm ish on a rainy Saturday. Knew we could not book and would queue. I have NEVER queued to get into a restaurant ever. Was surprised how many are willing to do so. Anyway. Waited around 30-40 minutes. Loud, busy and good atmosphere...in restaurant. Alcohol a bit pricey, as in most restaurants but not outrageous. Food was very fairly priced with option of small or large dish. I had small salmon and prawn tagliatelle. Very tasty. Portion size perfect. My partner and his son had a meat dish. Both said it was lovely. Flying visit so no time for desserts after long wait in queue but very reasonable at £5 each. They looked good too. Staff were lovely but clearly rushed off their feet. While I enjoyed my early dinner, it was not spectacular enough to warrant the queue. However, most of Liverpool think it is so who am I to say different?More

We were delighted to find that Casa Italia still exists - we were last here in about 1986 - it had been our dining venue of choice when visiting Liverpool on many dates. Having moved away from the area we were back on a bit...of a nostalgic / romantic visit. The food was excellent and the service was great too - probably the best Italian meal we have had in years. Dont miss the Tiramisu! We hope to be back next time we are in the city. We got there on the dot of 12 noon - the restaurant filled up pretty quickly.More

Best Italian in Liverpool - I love casa I have been to this restaurant with my daughter and with groups of friends now many times We visited Saturday night was extremely busy que is worth the wait we qued outside for about 20 mins and...the que behind us kept getting bigger ( that speaks for its self how popular the restaurant is ) We had starters and then a main - I went with what I always order the carbonara cooked perfectly accompanied with the house rose which I really like but my friend had with lemonade as she found it strong Are waiter was lovely , attentive even though how busy it was Saturday evening we didn’t have a long wait for service or food If you are thinking about trying this restaurant just do it you won’t be disappointed The atmosphere is lovely on top off the amazing food and service Thank you for a lovely eveningMore

This was our long awaited first visit to Casa Italia and it was so worth the wait. The staff were so friendly and helpful I couldn’t recommend them enough. The food was fantastic. Cassa has been a favourite for many years …. Went today with my daughter and grandchildren age 4 and 7. We waited probably 15 mins to get a table and another 10 to order food . Yes it was busy fine . It’s become very...expensive for what is basically pasta, I understand the economic situation. Both children wanted one of the baked pasta options…apparently they are not available In bambino portions !!!! Why would that be when all dishes are prepared as you wait ! It’s not rocket science to halve a portion of lasagna or cannelloni. It’s no longer a family restaurant and will not visit again .More

What a wonderful restaurant. The food is excellent service equally as good. Unfortunately my husband was taken ill with a previous medical complaint so we couldn’t finish our meal however the staff went above and beyond to look after us making sure we were ok...,ringing a taxi and waiting with us until it came. MANY MANY thanks we really appreciate it. So sorry can’t deliver this personally but we’re only visiting liverpool and had to go home next morning. You are stars.More
