My husband and I have visited here a few times now for breakfast, afternoon tea and cake and lunch. We had the most delicious potato and leek soup for lunch. The food is very tasty, the staff are friendly and the tea shop is clean and inviting. Would recommend you try it.

Organised an afternoon tea after Mum's funeral. Everything was perfect and the staff were amazing. Would highly recommend. Took the stress away from a difficult situation.

Love this little place...the food is fabulous and the staff are lovely. Everything from toasties and Panini's to a full breakfast or cream tea...well presented and delicious. A place to catch up with friends or sit alone and feel comfortable. There are tables outside through the back door but I have never used them...a good place for people to take... More

Called in for a coffee and sandwich whilst waiting to meet someone. Pro's Good food Friendly staff Reasonably priced Definitely not a greasy spoon Cream tea looks very inviting Con's Only one toilet, so occasionally a queue. Split level, so may not be ideal for anyone who is poor on there feet

Returned again today for my weekly visit. As always staff friendly and welcoming nothing is to much trouble and I am quite fussy. Food is always fresh, breakfast beautifully cooked and tasty eggs just how I like them. Couldnt make stronger recommendation for breakfast, lunch or cream tea. See you saturday !!! :)

Great breakfasts, not many places open in west derby village that do a decent breakfast since the small cafe shut next to the now closed down co-op, breakfast here comes with tea and toast at £6.50 which is good value and nice food, not tried the cakes but look good.

I have been here quite a few times with various friends, and enjoyed most of the food I have had. However, there is a very strange, subdued atmosphere , the staff seem very unhappy, and there is little warmth or welcome in their response to customers. There has never been an, eg " hello, nice to see you / morning... More

Visited the tearoom on a wet and miserable day as I thought it would be a treat. Felt disappointed as soon as we walked in! There was no bright and happy atmosphere as I thought there would be and staff were quite miserable. No rapport with the kids or really any evidence of trying to engage their customers. We were...
