Fabulous traditional pub in the heart of Woolton Village. Friendly staff, but small (3 beers) selection of real ale. Very busy but wonderful atmosphere.

This is a nice quiet village pub. Lovely to go for a quiet drink and hear your conversation. They have a good selection of beer and wine. Haven’t eaten there yet so cannot comment on the food, but have heard good things about the meals.

I've drank here many times and recently went for Sunday roast which was excellent value for money at £9.95 which includes either a free starter or desert and even better was the quality of the food. Excellent.
Lovely old style pub, great real ales,great friendly staff - but the icing on the cake is the food Do not miss if in the area (or even if you aren't!) Perfect
Nice to see a cozy traditional pub that has not been ruined by modernization. Didn't eat but what I saw coming out of the kitchen looked good. If you are real ale fan you will be disappointed, the selection is mediocre, Pedigree, Speckled Hen etc...More
