AMAZING Persian food. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and fresh. The staff was extremely helpful and gave suggestions on what to order. The restaurant was clean and welcoming. We had Persian tea and baklava to finish our meal - delicious. They even called for a taxi for us to get us back to our hotel. Walked us out to... More

Being in food industry for many year, I decided to try this restaurant with some friends. We had a try of their special starters which were good except hummus which was very creamy and unusual taste. We had two portion of kebab barg which were dry and taste chewy and the rice was cold too. I was really disappointed, so... More

Visited Sadaf with my friends in the evening, very busy and lively atmosphere, the interior decor is lovely. The service was good, friendly staff and efficient. Food was delicious and didn't let us down! The price was reasonable. I would recommend 👌🏽 I will be back for some more food 😁

Attended on Sunday for lunch. Waiter got the order wrong for one person, and got argumentative about it, which was uncomfortable. Then we did not get all food that we did order (but that was included in the bill). The food itself wasn't great either. Lots of rice and dry lamb. In addition, we order based on photo, and photo... My family and I went here for my husbands birthday and we were pleasantly surprised. The staff at Sadaf was very welcoming, quick, and efficient. We were greeted and served right away. The food was excellent and my husband said it was better than other Persian restaurants in the area. We would definitely recommend the Mixed Sadaf appetizer platter, as... More

Loved it. The kebabs and naan were fantastic. Things to consider...portions are VERY generous and Sadaf doesn't serve alcoholic beverages. We also learned the Biryani is not necessarily an Indian curry (it's also Persian) and they have a great selection.

Located in Bayswater, this restaurant has a great moviment, mostly of the muslim comunity of the neighborhood. Good food, but nothing expectional. The kebabs are all smoked (with taste of smoke, I mean) and the dishes has no sauce. You can choose bread or basmanti rice to eat the kebabs.

We like the chicken skewers, special naan bread with sesame seeds and delightful Turkish tea. Tasty food and good value too.

The kabab was flavoursome and tender. The portion sizes very generous. The surroundings pleasant. Regular locals were dining there which is always a good sign. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The service was fast, efficient and accommodating. The only small downside was that the restaurant was very warm and humid on a freezing cold day.

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
