Very good. Lovely atmosphere and good range of drinks. Old school small pub with space outside in quiet streets.

Always gave 5 before but the Harvey's has been taken off. Catastrophe!!!!! Why do that & force me to drop my ratings?
Had a great time at The Carpenters Arms. Managed to reserve a table for 7 people at short notice. Lovely atmosphere and dog friendly.
Best sausage roll going! Ive had a lot in my time and cant remember a better one. Also great feel in the pub :)
Fabulous ales & service & location. Many a great evening spent here over living locally for 16 years.
I always stay at the Churchill Hotel at Portman Square. This is the best boozer that I have found nearby - great choice of beers, cool atmosphere, interesting crowd. Will always go back.
found this lovely pub by chance on our last day in London. we needed to fill in some time & have a few beers sceptical on London prices (been from York) I ordered 1 pint of bitter 1 half of larger 1 half of coke...£9.71 was the cost I had to ask for confirmation yes that's right £9.71 that'll do me (been a careful Yorkshire Man). this is a lovely old pub with a warm friendly welcome if I ever do come back to London for another holiday I will be having a few beers here. prices are cheaper than city centre pubs in York. this pub is well worth seeking out.More
Very nice establishment I thought nice bar staff .but downsides are the drink prices. Was gobsmacked at the price for 2pints but then again it is London prices compared to swindons prices .thank you all for letting us stop here for a couple of hours...thoMore
what an atmosphere at the carpenters on Saturday July 8th , pre Springsteen gig , great beer offering and the staff worked their socks off with a smile
Had an hour to walk to Paddington, and dropped in here in passing for a beer - just off the beaten track, it's a lovely traditional pub, with a decent beer selection, a couple of different sports on the TV, and service with a smile....A chance visit, but I will keep this in mind next time I find myself in the area, with big booths I could see it being easy to waste a few hours in here.More
A proper pub with a great team and manager ...good service and nice clientele .....keep going back after many years in and out of the UK and it always hits the mark if you like a real local in nice part of town ....
We went to The Carpenter’s Arms multiple times to watch futbol (soccer) during our stay in London. The locals were friendly and the barmaids divine, especially Izzie! Although there is no hot food or drink, we were welcome to bring in whatever take-out we liked....Three TVs kept us on top of the action and the atmosphere kept us coming back for more!More
The pub has a traditional decor, reasonable amount of seating, clean toilets and a good range of beers (e.g. Harvey’s, Camden, Beavertown). The bar staff were friendly and many of the drinkers stood outside (it was a nice evening), but the street is quiet with...little traffic from 7-9pm. It’s a fairly quiet neighbourhood. The other drinkers were a nice bunch and we enjoyed our stay.More
Called in about 3pm , pub very quiet just 2 other customers in. Good selection of beer, Harvey's beers always good £4.80 a pint. No food available. This is a unique London pub not many left. Disappointed that cash is not accepted, cards only. Bar...staff friendly and helpful.More
A wonderful pub my son and I stumbled upon while staying in a nearby hotel. The staff are amazing and make you feel really welcome. We were in London for 3 nights and made sure we stopped in here each night. Despite the great location...of the pub they also don’t charge some of the silly prices that others nearby do. Would highly recommend a visitMore
