Abundantly rich & quality cuisine… Gourmet is the key element. Great salads & main dishes but I lobe the pastries & desserts. Cinnamon bun is heavenly with hot, piping coffee.

Baker and spice do good baked goods. Their salads are OK. Their breakfasts are potentially very good. However everything is let down by the shockingly bad coffee. Someone need to go for barista training. Or perhaps they should source better quality coffee beans or learn to roast them properly. This is not the first time I have been disgusted by... More

After a bit of a wait for a table of 2 we had a great brunch - even got some pastries to take away. Everything lovely. They do take away meals as well and I which I'd got some. Nice service, good products. I'm marking 4 not 5 perhaps unfairly because I was actually put off my the people we... More

My good friend Anne is over from Paris this week end: we could not possibly to Poilâne next door. And so it turned out we had a very nice breakfast at B&S - yummy almond and chocolate croissant and a fresh juice of pear & carrot - you can choose 2 flavours out of about 8 to be mixed for... More

Very good cappucino in big cups and a supertasty egg Benedict on an English muffin made our day when we arrived to our hoyel nearby, hungry after a long travel!

This is a nice place to go for fresh and tasty bakery goods and light lunches, sometimes it's quite busy and a little chaotic as it's quite small in the inside seating area. The interior set up doesn't help staff or customers but once you've negotiated that hurdle it all works pretty well, outside tables get busy with people who... More

I visit this place on the odd occasion and it comes thoroughly recommended!!! A great selection of mouth watering treats and undoubtedly the best Almond Croissants in the capital, if not the country! Well worth a visit!

Had almond croissant ( and one to take away for my wife) and cappuccino. All good especially the croissant which was huge and best I've ever had. And all for under £8 - a real bargain in this area. Sat at a table outside watching the world go by - lovely spot in Belgravia. The breakfasts they were serving looked... More

I regularly buy croissants and lunch from here. I've also used Deliveroo for the takeaway service too. Food is always delicious, fresh and very reasonably priced. The service is also very friendly and helpful. In short, great food, great service and great prices.

Since first opening the doors of our little bakery and food retail shop in Walton Street in 1995 we have stuck to the simple principle of making almost everything we sell fresh from scratch on a daily basis - producing an original selection of cakes, pastries and cookies. Each morning our stores are filled with the aroma of delicious morning pastries, cinnamon buns, in-season fruit filled Danish pastries and our iconic croissants -all freshly baked on the premises.

Each day you will find an array of hand crafted, artisan sourdough breads side by side with an inspiring, seductive range of cooked and prepared foods. Being ingredient led, we use what's in season, source authentic, local, organic and Fair trade where possible with an emphasis on British and European produce.

Our food is simple honest and genuine, flavoured with spices, herbs and ingredients drawn from the culinary roots of Mediterranean cooking, with a pinch of Asian for taste and of course created by people who love preparing it and are happy to talk endlessly about it.

Everything we make can be enjoyed in any one of our three Baker & Spice neighbourhood stores, open early each day for amazing breakfasts, delicious lunches or wonderful aromatic teas, coffees and cake right through the day to early evening and of course you can take it all home with you. You can also find us in Selfridges Food Hall off Oxford Street for freshly prepared food perfect to take away.

Neighbourhood Profile
Home to the vast majority of embassies and diplomatic residences in London, sophisticated and upscale Belgravia also boasts a wealth of luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and some of the city’s most stroll worthy lanes. While the prices here are high, taking a leisurely stroll through the streets of picturesque and elegant white stucco houses is free. Hyde Park and the Buckingham Palace Gardens are only a stone's throw away to the north, and some of Europe’s best shopping is nearby as well.
