Service was excellent and staff very pleasant. As we were there as the restaurant opened for dinner they were kind enough to let us know that the entrees would be a little late getting served. Food was delicious. All was freshly made and well presented....If we lived in London would not hesitate in making it our favourite Indian restaurant. Easy to recommend to anyone that loves authentic Indian food.More

I travel the world on business and have been to countless Indian restaurants in 50+ countries, This restaurant Raj Of Kensington is seriously the Best Indian food Iv ever experienced. I live in Australia and wish I had this restaurant there...If I lived in London...I would make this my local. The menu / food is not the normal everyday Indian food you get at most Indian restaurants they do a bit of a twist on it...Do yourself a favour Don't miss this place... Also service was fabulous.. I'll be back..!! I was there wed 22nd June 2022More

Staff kicked us out for sitting down before asking them where to sit so didn’t really get past the door so to speak. Staff also mentioned they were ‘as good as Englishmen’ since they were born there, revealing a pitiful immigrant white worship mentality. With...people like that serving you food, I’d advise going elsewhere.More

I just went in to Raj of Kensington with Joy and wonder and was aggressively treated by the owner or someone who said he was who said how can you sit down in my place without asking I’ve lived here all my life it’s not...how it’s done and I’ve never felt so unwelcome and been treated so badly anywhere, ever! Although I am wild about Indian food here it seemed like it was steeped in the tablecloths and curtains and he yelled so loudly at us that everyone got involved and we heard a wild ruckus of applause when we left because I told him he was very rude! I have ordered before from here during covid time and was heartbroken at the taste of the food I got but thought I would give it a chance only because it was open to be honest but was in effect spat at just because we came in so happily and sat down without asking when I was accosted I said there should be a sign and he said I’ve lived here all my life obviously you don’t know how it’s done here! Absolutely shocking experience I wish them good love and vibes and anything they need to treat people betterMore

reviews looked great online, however both curries were like soup. I’m not joking. Add soup with yogurt and a spoonful of pataks and you get the picture. I’ve made better and I cannot even cook. Avoid

Delicious Indian food. The chicken tikka masala and butter chicken did not disappoint. They were rich and flavorful, and the portion sizes were good/fair for the prices. Would highly recommend if you're looking for legit Indian food, and would eat here again (or order from...here, rather, as they're currently only doing deliveries).More

The food is excellent, with great guidance from the staff who prepare exactly what you want within the dish. Their chef has some great dishes that he has learnt from all sorts of different regions in India, and it shows. Their wine list shows care...and attention to detail. We actually went for the house red, as in my view when trying a new place it is good to go for the house wine because it gives you a true sign on attention to detail. It didnt disappoint. We would have visited again if it wasnt for it being our last night. Highly RecommendedMore

With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque

such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming
