Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We went here for my birthday as was on my bucket list! I wanted to ignore some of the reviews as some people can be a bit oer the top but now I wish I had listened! When we arrived we were left standing by...the door even though we were seen ( the place was not busy at all with only 2 tables occupied) We had to call someone over to ask of we can order a drink, items were not available from the menu which I had tried to order, no one came back to take mains order as I said I needed a cople of minutes to choose another dish as 2 of what I chose initially thry did not have. We had our starters then once finished had to call them over again to order a main. The food was nothing at all special amd we even left some, my local takeaway tastes much better. The atmosphere was cold, no one came to the table unless they were called over, the staff looked miserable and the older women with bobbed hair cut was quite rude to the many drivers who came to collet for delivery telling them to go wait outside. It's a shame as the boat/surroundings is lovely but unfortunately we will not be returning or recommending.More

Went here on a Friday night for my mums birthday. On arrival we were left standing until someone noticed we were there and then walked off. Once seated we had to ask for a drink. Half of the stuff we wanted to order from the...menu was not available. Service was awful, very slow and no warmth at all, customers treated like an inconvenience. Appetisers we’re £30 for 2 people and you get one-two tiny pieces of each thing. Again we had to ask if we could order our mains. Restaurant itself looks nice and is in a unique setting, however when it’s dark you can’t even tell you’re on a boat, just become a generic restaurant. Have had much better Chinese food from an average local takeaway. Considering we paid £110 for 2 people it was extremely disappointing. Save your money and go elsewhere.More

Stumbled across this floating restaurant as we walked along the canal from Little Venice to Camden Town and had the most delicious lunch served by prompt and friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit! Excellent location, excellent food quality and presentation who could ask for more!...Highly recommendMore

One staff member was very rude and didn't feel comfortable, felt very rushed for my birthday and of which was local by any means, 50 minutes from start to finish even when asking for a gap. Very over priced bit they know people will pay...as a bit different.More

We visited the restaurant on an unbusy weekday in July, after having prebooked for arrival several hours prior to closing time. Unfortunately, one of the guests arrived late, and even though the restaurant was almost empty, this obviously was disasterous to the staff. Although the...delay did not cause any problems to the restaurant, the staff was extremely rude and unpleasant for the rest of our meal. Especially the manager, who had a very negative impact on the rest of the staff. The food was excellent, but it all was destroyed by the lousy service, crowned with the waitor turning out the lights on the table and outside the restaurant before we had finished our desserts. For the first time ever, I seriously considered to leave the dinner before ended. Avoid this overprised tourist trap! You will get just as good Chinese food from nice and pleasant staff lots of other great places in London.More

Our meal at the Feng Shang Princess was really disappointing. We ordered crispy seaweed, soft shelled crab and crispy duck with pancakes. None of them tasted freshly made - it was as if they had all been reheated and served. All were lukewarm by the...time they arrived at our table, and the duck in particular was very dry. It's a shame, because the setting of the restaurant is lovely and our experience of the service from staff was okay. We definitely won't return.More

We have been regulars at this restaurant, but have decided not to dine here anymore. We booked a table at 8.15 arrived and no one came to our table to ask us for a drink or the food order until 9pm. I had asked for...a manager for the last 45 minutes but she never came to the table and ignored us. Eventually our order was taken and our starter arrived at 9.15. One hour after we had arrived. When ordered veg dumplings and when they arrived the online menu said 5 pieces but only 4 came. When we asked to see a manager a lady with red hair came and argued with us when we said that we are getting poor service. She didn’t even apologise and treated us a paying customer like we were beggars!!! When we mention that the online menu is not accurate and we were dissatisfied with waiting an hour to be served, she told us that we are welcome to leave and complain to the owner of the restaurant as she could not care less! With other customers looking shocked with such insults towards us we decided enough was enough from the pathetic staff at this restaurant and left . The evening was ruined by these cowboys who don’t have any respect for customers and are only interested in money and greed. The staff can behave in this manner only if the owner has no respect for their customers as the Chinese proverb says” The fish 🐠 always rots from head downwards. AVOID THIS RESTAURANT IF YOU ARE A LOCAL OR A TOURIST AS YOU WILL BE TREATED WITH DISRESPECT, BEGGER AND WITH CONTEMPT BY THE MANAGER AND SHE CONFIRMED WITHOUT FEAR THAT HER OWNER ENCOURAGES PAYING CUSTOMERS TO BE SUBJECTED TO DISRESPECT AND DEMEANING IN FRONT OF OTHER CUSTOMERS. YOU PAY TO BE INSULTED AND TO PAY FOR THIS EMBARRASSMENT. The worst place in regent street to dine!!More

We decided to pop here after a day at the zoo. They kindly opened early for us despite not usually opening until 6, they offered to allow us in half an hour early. Fantastic selection, beautifully cooked and prepared, attentive service. Highly recommended.

We visited London for holidays and decided to visit this restaurant again on a Sunday afternoon. It was a little busy and able to get a table for 5. Alway make a a reservation to ensure a table is available. We had dim sum, prawns...with wasabi sauce, beef with vegetables, soft shell crabs, rice and noddles. Also had tiramisu for dessert. Very tasty and good. See photos. Highly recommended for the ambience and nice view on a sunny day.More

There is no obvious dress code, but obviously it is a good restaurant, so a good appearance is expected.
