Have visited over the years and bought cakes. Window display should be brought back along with cakes that used to available. Cake selection very minimal. Bought Hazelnut slice, dry not worth the money. What a shame changes made for the worst. Staff very polite.

The place was modernised and looks fresh and clean with preserved traditional, old character. Cakes are amazing and coffee is fantastic. It is so unique place where you can meet famous people or even politicians.

I'm genuinely upset about the awful modernisation of Louis. My family and I have been coming here for over 40 years. Louis is not just a patisserie, its as much a part of the history, culture and atmosphere of Hampstead as Kenwood, Fenton House, or...More

Have been visiting Louis's for many years. It used to have a wonderfully quaint atmosphere and served lovely patisserie alongside proper tea in china cups. It has recently been revamped. The quaint atmosphere has gone, the tea is not as good and neither are the...More

Pleasant old fashioned café which has been here for probably 50 years. Reasonable selection of cakes and savouries. Convenient for station.

It has been over the 50 years or more that I have been a happy client at Louis, but not any more. Usually at teatime on a weekend we considered ourselves lucky to get a table without waiting in a queue. We were initially surprised...More

Small but cosy , not really buggy friendly which is good as far as I'm concerned. People with huge buggies shouldn't want to take up half a tiny cafe . The pastries are good and I would advise any of them.

The cakes in the window got our attention and so we stopped for tea and bread rolls too. Inside there was a lovely quietness, none of the hustle and bustle you experience in other cafe's, people were respectful. Tea came with a exquisite cup and...More
