A special thanks to Roberto, the manager and the his lovely colleague, Marie for making this experience truly remarkable. The obvious problems with lack of staff together with a super busy rush of customers was dealt with very professionally by the team. The food was delivered...in a very reasonable time considering and the cleanliness and ambience of this place is first class.More

The service was outstanding! The pizza came out so quickly and it was huge! When I couldn't finish it, the waitress gave me a box and a bag so that I could take it with me!

We didn't have a booking at Zizzi but decided to see if they could accommodate us , they were very busy at 7pm on Good Friday but they found us a table no problem. I thought we'd be waiting ages and was worried as we...had a show booked for 8pm but they were wonderful, our waitress came within 5 minutes and took our food and drinks order , huge bottles of Perroni for £5 , absolute bargain! Food was really good and fresh , husband and daughters pizza were amazing and my spaghetti was lovely too ! Would definitely recommend, thank you Zizzi 😊More

This is a quaint little basement venue. As a chain I find Zizzi always delivers but the staff here are second to none.

We called for a meal. There were 3 ladies one of whom was celebrating her birth day, we queued behind them on the stairs. We waited and they waited and the wait went on, no recognition from the section staff. The ladies in front of...us got fed up and left. I counted up over 40 available seats all at empty tables. I waited some more ,now other people are receiving their meals and it looks good. Eventually the lady comes and tells me it will be 15 minutes and gives me a menu. Not a problem. I follow her expecting to be seated. She turns and directs me to wait at the lecturn. To stand there for 15 minutes with 40 empty seats not happening. They have nearby competitors who managed to provide suitable service. The food looked great if you can get some.More

Sorry to hear about your bad experience with us at Zizzi The Strand, We do try our best to sit every customer, however due to staff shortages we sometimes cannot use all the tables available within the restaurant.

Family meal here in December. We were a party of 8. Our table was cleaned down in our presence and there was not wait. Food was delivered promptly and was good. The festive menu was not worth it as most of the dessert menu was...out of stock. Overall a good place for pizza. We were not rushed at all and it is easy distance from Covent Garden and Trafalgar Square.More

Perhaps my review is slightly biased, I’m not a major fan of chain Italians. We dined here on a busy Saturday night pre-Theatre. Firstly you have to make your way (quite dangerously) down stairs squeezing past all of those who haven’t pre-booked-the looks you get...is uncomfortable! Our table was ready and I have to say the member of staff serving us was really friendly, professional and attentive. The food came quickly but was bland. Few of us had the lemon pepper chicken pasta which tasted neither of lemon or pepper until we added the pepper ourselves. The chicken was less than a 1/4 of a breast which also included a very sharp bone, bones also in 2 other members of our parties dish. We didn’t have pudding as there wasn’t time. The drinks were nice and at a price you would w left for a chain, in London. Not sure why now you can’t pay in cash?? We are not yet a cashless society so this struck my as odd and annoying. Not blown away and wouldn’t return.More

We walked into Zizzi’s pre theatre hoping for a table for 7 and were found a table. Our food came quickly and was fine but nothing special; main complaint was smallish portions and limited pizza topping. The waiting staff were great.

15 minutes walk or, if don't want to walk, you can use the London Underground taking the Bakerloo line in Charing Cross and exiting at Piccadilly Circus station.
