We are lucky to have friends recommend this restaurant and also luck to meet Tan working in Sofia introducing dishes for us.. All we ordered were beyond our expectations. It is enjoyable to have dinner here during the sunny June evening.

Walked down the street and luckily did not need a reservation to squeeze in for an early dinner (6:00). We had buffalo mozzarella salad, tzatziki, okra, Scottish filet, and grilled Salmon. All of our meals were excellent! Service was good atmosphere fantastic. Highly recommend.

This was a visit for a small group of us after a busy business day in London. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left the service was faultless. When we arrived the restaurant was busy and so we thought the the service...may be slow, it wasn't. The longest wait was for us to decide what to eat. The staff were willing to answer any questions that you may have and even showed you pictures to confirm visually what they were describing. For starter we picked a number of small plates to share (Octopus, Calamari, Chorizo etc) and for the main course picked our own dishes. Everything came out together, was hot, well presented and I would say just the right portion size. I had the Lamb Tagine and while it was different to what I had had before, it was cooked to perfection and I enjoyed every morsel. Others enjoyed the Spicy Pots of Ground Lamb and Beef, and Fish and the Kabsa. While most were too full for dessert, thre of us had the Su Muhallebesi, Baklava and a cheesecake. Overall we left happy, unhurried and satisfied that we'd had good food without breaking our credit card.More

I used to work near the shapered Market. Went to the restaurant many times. Came with my 2 year old son and my family . We were told the only table available is the one outside I said there are many tables available and I...have a 2 years old child can't sit outside in a chilly night .the guy didn't even try . Our larger group showed up without a reservation, and the staff were so accommodating. They gave a great deal of personal attention, personality and amusement. The mixed grill was so flavorful and tender. Highly recommend! Everyone was pleased with their meal. Such a charming area!

I had three dinners at Sofra and each was delicious! The service was wonderful with both a very attentive Maitre D' as well as the wait staff. The restaurant is open on Sunday which is not the case for most restaurants in Shepherd's Market, so...I was delighted to be able to enjoy my last dinner in London there!More

The salads were wonderfully fresh and flavorful and the meats like the lamb, so mouth-watering and flavorful, tender, and artfully presented.
