Saturday night, first lads night back out after lockdown and we were expecting big things, from the Instagram posts that look amazing to the menu we expected amazing things.
We were originally a table of 3 but on the Friday phoned to change to a 4 which was confirmed by phone, when we arrived we were told that the booking had not been changed and that the best we could have was a garden table as they were fully booked, we asked what was happening with the original table, can a fourth chair not be added, to be shocked by the comment was an understatement, the girl showed us the size of the table that they expected 3 blokes to sit at for 3 hours an eat and drink, the table was a smaller than a side table it was more a lamp table so we begrudgingly accepted the garden table,
We also asked about an empty table of four outside under the terrace that was free as no one had arrived for it we were told no,
Drinks and ordering was very slow, but we were still optimistic, the wings arrived and we were blown away we order Buffalo, Kansas BBQ, Gangnam, Garlic & Parmesan and a portion of popcorn chicken, they were all amazing and the best was the garlic and gangnam,
The waitress told us that they were still trying their best to move us inside which we appreciated, so we ordered our mains and sides and it was after we ordered that the sky went black and we hoped the rain would pass,
But it didn’t and the heavens opened and we run for cover,
We stood for ten minutes before anyone came over to us and asked if we were sitting outside, we said yes and that we had ordered food half an hour ago
The table that was empty when we arrived was still empty and this was after the first 1.5 hr slot and it was now sitting empty 15 minutes into the next slot
We asked if we can have the table as our food is most likely ready, we were told no as the table is reserved,
We were nearly ready to walk away when luckily another waitress told us to take the table as our food was ready.
The burgers and chips arrived and we were again blown away by the standard of the food, if I could be really picky the beef burger need abit more seasoning as the amount of sauce and cheese took away the flavour of the beef but the burger was amazing, the signature chicken burger was also amazing but was over seasoned but was still tasty,
The loaded fries were amazing and remained crisp throughout eating,
We were disappointed to ask for desserts to be told that there were no milkshakes so we went with the pecan pie,
We sat there for over half an hour watching the two waitresses chatting and flirting with the male waiter from the breakfast club next door and when she finally came over to ask if we needed anything and we said yea the desserts we ordered, she said ‘ow you ordered those ages ago’ shock
To sum up our experience I would definitely go back for the food but if the service was not vastly improved, I would walk away before I ordered

Faultless in every way! Genuinely the highlight of the weekend, when comparing all the food we sampled.
In what can only be described as a packed menu, it took a bit of time to choose what Wings to go for. I eventually opted for the Kansas BBQ Grilled Wings for myself (eight in total) - epic!
I then went a step further and ordered Randy’s Signature Burger, a Buttermilk Chicken Thigh with a special in-house Mayo. Like the starter, it was enjoyable in every bite. A decent portion as well.
Cost wise, it was around £30 per person (inclusive of a Peroni bottle and service charge). Would happily have paid more to be honest. Overlooking a canal veering off from the River Lea, it was a great location as well.
Simply put, I’d go back in a heartbeat. The other guys with me will tell you the same!

Ordered for takeaway due to lockdown. Had buffalo wings, Casablanca wings and Gangnam wings! Apart from full trays of wings, they were full of meat and flavour. My favourite was the Gangnam ones. Super crunchy in a sweet sticky sauce! Also had loco loaded fries and bbq bacon dust loaded fries. Bags and bags of flavour. I’m always sceptical of getting loaded fries as they’re usually soggy from the toppings especially when you get them for takeaway. Not Randy’s fries! On no! Both portions were full of crunchy fries. Some of the best I’ve eaten anywhere!!
Randy’s have nailed the wings and fries market. If you’re in the area, it’s a must try for sure!!

Attended for a all you can eat booking however very poor service meant we waited ages to be seated despite booking a table in advance. Drinks took ages to come and it seemed as though servers forgot we had ordered drinks! Food was to an ok standard however let down by the service and many customers looking unsatisfied and all waiting for servers attention. Staff minimal communication and checking in. Has the potential to be a good restaurant but would not recommend during busy times as they cannot handle the foot flow.

We were booked inside and phoned to let the restaurant know we would be 5 mins late, the person on the end of the phone seemed to have little to no clue. On arrival we were given a table outside despite requesting inside. No drinks order was taken at all and we had been sat already for 20 mins. We asked to move inside as there was a vast number of tables inside. We were made to feel as though this was an incredibly difficult request. We were sat next to where the staff were taking orders and people were constantly waking past with no social distancing. Most staff members were not wearing masks when in close contact with eachother, no masks were being worn in the cooking areas either. One waiter kept talking to me with his mask down. We asked for water and 2 drinks, the water was completely forgotten about... one drink came out before the other and was left at the bar. We didn’t have any cutlery or plates and our food had already arrived. All in all this wasn’t a covid secure enrironment and the vast amount being catered for was extremely poorly managed. Having had covid and not been vaccinated I can honestly say I won’t be returning and was hugely disappointed that there was also no milkshakes on the menu. I had been so looking forward to trying this place out but certainly didn’t feel safe and I won’t be back! Sorry!

Usually when reviewing a restaurant it is solely on the food for the review. But with Randy's wing bar this is an exception as the service was by far some of the worst I have experienced. To start, I had booked a table but took over 10 minutes to be even seated by a member of staff. When eventually sat down I noticed that the restaurant wasn't even at full capacity and that some staff were just standing around talking, taking phone calls in the toilets and sitting down behind the bar. Another 20 minutes past and we still haven't had our drinks order taken which eventually were certainly not worth the wait. Sugared and weak cocktails mixes but I salute the bar tender who was solo making the cocktails by himself on a busy saturday night and didn't stop to dabble like the rest of the staff. Being sat for 45 minutes our food order was finally taken by a waiter to frankly made it clear by his attitude he would rather be anywhere else then working here. A couple next to us had received their food before their drinks which was simply a pint and gin tonic. The food is at good standard and there are no floors with that. But alas, again we were ignored and frankly could have been stark naked and still no one would have given a dam. No one came to check how the food was and if we were satisfied with everything. Having finished and sitting with our now cold food for another 30 minutes, my partner had to interrupt the manager who was happily having a laugh and giggle with his staff in the corner to simply pay for our bill. We ordered 3 plates of wings and chips along with a gravy dip that we never received. When we asked to take home some of the leftovers, the manager simply just gave use take away boxes for us to pack away our food ourselves, no bag, no napkins, no sense. Never have I been to restaurant where left overs weren't taken away and wrapped up professionally to go, even Nando's does a better job. To sum it up, we left carrying boxes of our food with our plates not cleared away, no offer for dessert menus, or if we wanted further drinks. It seems the staff wanted everyone out of there asap and we happily obliged. So frankly, I will not be returning to Randy's Wing Bar despite the food being quite tasty. The staff could do with a serious day of learning about proper customer service or simply human interaction.

We had pre booked a time, turned up on time, then waited over 45 minutes to be served with know one explaining the delay, Then another 10 minute wait for the drinks.
We were going to stay there for a while, but we did not want to wait for more drinks.
We asked and got a discount for the service, and noticed they added on a % for service charge automatically on the receipt, which we did not fill that was correct, I don't mind paying for good service, but this was not that.
Won't rush back there again

Sat down for a meal and essentially got ignored , to a point where we had to flag done a waitress for some service. She then decided she was too good for a pen and paper. She took our order and left our table our meal came in drips and drabs not all at once . I noticed that I hadn’t got the loaded fries which I ordered , again had to flag down a different waitress who checked the computer. She then informed me that the order was not placed and the kitchen was closing and could not rectify the mistake. Terrible service the waitresses who more interested talking and socialising to their friends that were sat next to us. Horrible experience I won’t be going again.

A big thumbs up to Randy’s Wing Bar. A must visit place. The restaurant is located with great views of the canal, has friendly and attentive staff, and serves yummy food. I had the Korean wrap and fries, and shared a selection of chicken wings with friends. Well recommended. Definitely will be returning.

Went here whilst we waited for our table at Breakfast club. Waited at the bar for a drink (as you do) and a male member of staff with short pink hair was very rude, to the extent I was unwilling to stay. Food might be great but I would honestly avoid in favour of the neighbouring locations which offer better service.

My friends and I came here on August bank holiday on the Saturday for an early evening dinner before heading out for the night. The venue is well laid out with a lot of tables for dining, you can book but they have a lot of walk ins due to location along Hackney Canal and not being far from Hackney Wick Station.
My friends and I had 5 wings each in buffalo, lemon & pepper and cauliflower Korean wings. We also had fries and 2 pickled salads. The wings were full of flavour and tender, falling off the bone. The cauliflower was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The sides were so large we could have shared them, but special shout-out to the pickled salad because it was amazing.
Sebastian was our waiter and he was absolutely amazing, so helpful and recommended drinks we would like when we were stuck for choice. He was polite and very friendly from when we walked in to when we left.
We ended up having frozen margaritas, gin and lemonade cocktails (tip: if you like a sharp drink, ask for this with no sugar syrup. It’s like a limoncello gin.) I would highly recommend to anyone and I will return.

I didn’t like how I was confronted by your waiter, when he said there was no note requesting no mayo on my loaded fries, embarrassing me in front of my wife and friends. I showed him my order on my email and he wasn’t happy with me, and I’m the customer! The food was fantastic, his attitude towards me was awful. (I didn’t get a name but he had a bobble hat on, he had a beard and wore tshirt and shorts)

Entrance - Easy to find, just off the Canalside, very busy which is always a good sign so easy to spot.
Food - We ordered the All You Can Eat Wings - choice being Grilled Kansas BBQ, Nashville Hot Wings, Korean and Hot Honey.
The wings were nice, cooked well & tasted great.
Drinks - I ordered white wine as it was happy hour with a glass of lemonade, I didn’t like the wine it tasted very cheap so I could not finish it and wish there was more choice.
My partner got Randys Larger which he also didn’t finish as it wasn’t all that.
Decor - The average wing shack vibe. Looked good and fit the aesthetic.
Atmosphere - Busy, music was good, service was quick.
Cleanliness - Could’ve been cleaner, the menus were really sticky and gross when they were given to us which wasn’t nice.
Cost - £56.50 for 2x unlimited wings, 2 drinks, 1 lemonade & service charge.
Customer service - Terrible from the beginning. We asked to sit outside and the waiter said there was no outside seats, when there were 3 outside tables available then he said “you can sit there if you want”
When ordering our second round of wings, I asked if more gloves can be brought out as the ones I had on previously got very dirty, he said it was fine then brought out the wings without the gloves, so when I asked for the gloves again, he gave me the dirtiest look and got the gloves - made me feel like the biggest inconvenience and did this in front of the customers.
I felt so uncomfortable I lost my appetite and asked for takeaway boxes. The waiter brought takeaway boxes so my partner asked for a bag because how are we gonna carry them? On our head? he looked us in the eye and said they had ran out of bags and that he could see from where he was standing that there was no more left which was a blatant lie because you’re a whole restaurant on Deliveroo- do the delivery drivers carry the food boxes in their hands?!
My partner then got up and went to the kitchen himself and long and behold - they had plenty of bags, even asked what size he wanted, small or large - so my partner then came back and told the waiter this and he said “I wasn’t even allowed to let you have takeaway boxes as you can’t takeaway the unlimited wings, so that’s why I didn’t give you the bags because I’d get in trouble with my manager” so he basically admitted he LIED and made out like he done us a favour by consistently being rude, lying and embarrassing us in front of everyone then laughing about it.
Overall - 1/10 - the wings were so nice, it’s just a shame the customer service lacked otherwise I would return.

We popped in this lunchtime for a quick bite and the staff couldn’t have been nicer or more attentive. And the food was absolutely delicious. My husband said his Korean burger was the best chicken burger he’s ever had. Will definitely be back soon. Special shout-out to the two gentlemen absolutely smashing it on the floor on a busy lunch service! Awesome job!
