Liman’s menu features dishes from the “Fertile Crescent” to the Levant, which have passed the long test of history, faithful to the hearths of old while also embracing the soil and life of their new land, with ingredients acquired fresh daily. But some vital ingredients can only be brought from Turkey, like pistachios from Antep, dried rose petals, tart pomegranate molasses, sumac, local pepper flakes and dried apples. The wine list is also created with an eye to the lands represented on the menu. But whatever Liman prepares and serves, its guests remain the most vital element. Because Liman is our home, and the rhythm of our lives.

Fabulous food, setting and service. Ordered calamari and hummus for starters. Mixed grill, chicken kebab and veg moussaka - absolutely perfect! Great start to our Easter break. Would definitely recommend and will return. Thank you for a great night!

Great food, nicely presented, lovely service, warm atmosphere. Worth booking a table, restaurant was full. The place would be worth a trip up to Angel for, but luckily I live close.

The food was delicious and truly scrumptious. The ambiance was lovely and it was nice to be in a warm restaurant with a great atmosphere. The only let down was the lack of choices of alcohol free drinks. Otherwise perfect

A simple family Saturday lunch turned out to be a special occasion thanks to delicious food and outstanding service. We enjoyed a wide selection of the terrific starters followed by the famous lamb shops.

First visit mainly based on previous reviews and to try a restaurant that wasn’t curry based or American themed which we normally plump for. Quiet for the time we arrived (7pm) but it was pleasant to be able to enjoy the atmosphere without competing with...loads of people. Food was really nice - king prawn starter and minced lamb kebab for main. My wife had the scallops and a lamb kebab which was so soft to eat. Accompanied by a nice bottle of red wine. To full to mange a desert. Would definitely recommend and return in the futureMore

We chose Liman for a celebration meal after all of the wonderful reviews. We had been looking forward to it for weeks - and the food did not disappoint! It was absolutely delicious, well worth all of the hype and compliments I'd seen other reviewers...give it. The atmosphere was cosy and warm, not too loud, not too bright, and not cramped for space either. It was just my partner and I, and we were both impressed. The gentleman who greeted us was kind and welcoming, and attentive too without rushing us. The only thing that bugged us is that one of the other staff members who was on that night, a lady, was quite sharp with us! We both ordered a starter each, but when they were brought out, she was very curt and at one point told us to "learn to share"! I'm not sure where that came from as we were already planning to share. It made us a bit uncomfortable as we were questioning if we'd done or said something wrong when we'd ordered. The gentleman served us for most of the rest of the night and was as friendly as he'd been when we arrived. The issue above wouldn't stop me giving this place five stars, nor from returning again, as the food and atmosphere were truly fantastic.More

Hey there, I would definitely recommend the restaurant for a romantic evening. About the bread, I am not really shure. But I believe you can order it separately. Hope this helps. Best wishes.
