As always, Sergio’s delivered an exemplary service from start to finish. Mr. Fernando Tutti, our server, was amazing. He helped with all our requests especially the last minute candle request for my boyfriend’s birthday (which I didn’t make him aware of). On this occasion as well, there has been an emergency in the restaurant next doors and the staff of Sergio’s did not hesitate to help.

Ate here today & had a really nice meal. The staff were really great, the girls who served me in particular were super friendly & attentive. I enjoyed my meal (the portion was just right, & they kindly accommodated my request to slightly modify the dish I ordered).
It felt very safe eating outside, distanced from the other tables & with blankets & patio heaters to stay warm. The only thing I will add is that the gratuity was added to the bill which I'm not a fan of (it probably said this on the menu & I didn't notice) as I wanted to leave cash. But then some people probably try to leave nothing, so this at least ensures that doesn't happen!
Would definitely recommend anyway, the menu had plenty of choice, the pasta I had was just what I wanted, & the Christmas decorations were really fun.

I booked this restaurant as a surprise for my best friend . I booked this restaurant for our evening meal. I told them it was my friends birthday they set the table up nice and gave her ballon to make her feel extra special. They were very welcoming and friendly . The food was amazing and really tasty, we ordered pizza and pasta. The portion size was large especially the pizza could not finish it on my own.
The hospitality of the staff was amazing and made the evening special. I would definitely be going again to try some more dishes .

OK, so the food was really nice. Really tasty.
However, firstly, the service was poor. One of the waiters was really rude to our table, and we felt ignored for most of it. We had to wait for ages for services also.
The biggest issue though is with the pricing. With cocktails averaging £14, you'd expect good drinks, but they were mediocre, and not what they said on the tin. if you're going to servce Pisco, for example, make it a Pisco, not some watered down lemon liquour. We were really disappointed. We had to return three of the cocktails because they were such poor quality.
And then the food was a real varying value for money. I ordered the vegetarian aubergine dish. Admittedly, it was tasty but paying £15.99 for half an aubergine in tomato sauce and some cheese is ridiculous. I was really disappointed and, to be honest, the pricing ruined our whole experience.
We won't be returning, sorry.

There is nothing better than a nice bottle of wine, delicious Italian food and good service. It was definitely in short supply at this restaurant. It was a busy Saturday night and thankfully we had booked a table because the restaurant was packed. I get that we might have to wait a little for service and that restaurants are trying to recoup lost revenue but it was obvious from the outset that this place had booked as many people in as possible but without enough waiting and kitchen staff to cope. We ordered some breads to keep us going but after 1 hour 20 minutes and a polite reminder a basket eventually arrived, delivered by a surly waiter but still no sign of our starters. 20 minutes later these arrived and thereafter began another slow process of trying to obtain our main meals. These arrived eventually, poorly presented and had been clearly sweating under the hot lamps in the kitchen as all the moisture had almost disappeared from the food. My ravioli was just a plate of stodge in a white tasteless sauce. Other tables were also complaining but were just met with the same unapologetic responses i.e. not enough kitchen staff or waiters. No sweet menu was ever offered but after nearly 3 hours we had been worn down so we just decided to pay the hefty bill and leave which was miraculously delivered within 30 seconds by a non-apologetic waiter. Ironically, as we stood up to leave, 2 waiters instantly appeared cleared our table down and set it up for the next victims. We had only walked 10 yards but I felt like telling them to order off the breakfast menu! We have eaten at Sergios before and had a decent experience but watching all the nearby restaurants cope well with a busy service I think many regulars will take their business elsewhere, so avoid this one at all costs. We will not be returning.

Huge portions - would recommend the seafood pasta. Great outdoor space, covered and heated. Prices slightly high vs what I would expect and service was slow but that’s because they were so busy on a Thursday evening

This is a great family run Italian restaurant which has been going for some years. The menu offers a great selection of Italian cuisine which comes in decent size portions at reasonable cost. Service is fantastic. Thoroughly recommend.

Very nice to visit this restaurant during Xmas time. The decorations made an amazing Christmassy atmosphere!! The pizza was delicious, would go back anytime, however the pasta i tried could be a little better. Although they serve huge portions so totally worth it. I gave 4/5 stars because i noticed something missing. The staff is quite smiley and nice when they come to you, but they should pay a little more attention to the customers, as for us to order extras we had to wait for any of them to look at us and come to our table, which is been a bit long tbh before anyone would look at us. This said, i still fully recommend to try it out. Thanks guys

I have been going to Sergios for over 30 years now, and I would say that it is my favorite restaurant of all time. But last night they truly surpassed themselves. I went in with my sister and my mum to celebrate her 85th birthday. When we arrived, the table had been set for a celebration and festooned with balloons. The food was up to its usual high standards, and at the end the staff came out with a cake and sang happy birthday to my mum. A big thanks to Kostas and his team and we look forward to seeing you all again soon, cheers Kathryn x

Went there on Saturday for a late lunch/early dinner. Service is more of a show than real caring about patrons. Whilst the waitress took her time to advertise veal chops for a price of 30 quid, my starter hadn’t been served until I asked for it. The napkin was stained with tomato sauce. I ordered a vegetarian option of courgettes salad which is described as “Zucchini noodles with cherry tomatoes, pesto, garlic and pine nuts”. What I got was a plate of lots of lettuce with tasteless cherry tomatoes, very few fried courgette stripes with lots of watery pesto and some pine nuts. It was too oily and too salted. Finishing it was quite a hardship. My husband ordered a garlic pizza bread and spaghetti vongole, both ok but nothing to write home about.
The lady at the next table ordered that loudly advertised veal chop at the price of £30 (excluding service charge), which was served on a huge plate and turned out to be a substantial fried greasy piece of meat with very little sauce, some tender stem broccoli and fries. Quite average and unappealing look.
So I would say this place is a basic “Italian” pizzeria pretending to be a restaurant and charging restaurant prices for no reason.

Have regularly visited this restaurant over the last decade. Last night’s experience was hugely underwhelming, and given I had recommended it to the group of 8 who came somewhat embarrassing.
Food was bland, more than one dish came cold and had to be sent back and this meant some people had finished mains before others even received theirs. Staff were inattentive, borderline sarcastic and generally disinterested. Service was grindingly slow which led to a few of us missing late evening trains - from sitting down to paying the bill was over three hours and we had to ask four times for the bill which took over half an hour to arrive.
We did not bring a birthday cake as when we checked we were told their was a cakeage fee of £10 per head- even without deserts and only a modest amount of drinks the bill worked out at c.£60 per head. There is much better value to be had elsewhere, particularly since the dining experience has gone sharply down hill.

Trying to decide on where to go for dinner yesterday evening we stumbled on Sergios via trip advisor and so glad we did... Extremely good quality food & cooking with generous size portions and a team of staff who were extremely helpful, professional and happy to adjust some of the menu to suit our tastes Ie. Amazing mussels without the tomato base but with white wine & chilli instead.
As a spectacular risotto cook myself I was very nervous about their risotto due to many previous restaurants disasters eg being overcooked but mostly too Al Dente, however this was perfect! Husband loved his meatballs and our shared dessert of walnut & pecan pie washed down with desert wine was delish!
Was honoured to meet the owner at the end of the evening who was extremely friendly and helpful to geordies exiled in london on offering advise on other places near to our residency in North London.
Sergios is our new Go To Italians for sure.. now just need to convince them to put squid ink risotto on the menu ;)

Decided to eat here based on a recommendation from hotel staff where we we staying. The restaurant did not look very busy when we sat down around 7:00 pm. However, it took over an hour to serve our starter of olives and spicy tomato garlic bread, but only after we suggested we were going to leave. It transpired that they had a parties of around 50 people downstairs and the kitchen was struggling to cope. Our main courses were served around 15 minutes later but I had ordered King Prawn Risotto and got a plate of rubbery prawns with vegetables and potatoes.
Needless to say we left. A total disaster!
Now I should point out that the manager was very apologetic and embarrassed by the whole situation and cancelled the bill for our drinks and starters.
If only they had mentioned there was an hour wait we would have gone elsewhere, and saved us all from this rather sorry episode.

This restaurant is just superb, it has been trading for over 30 years and the service and food are truly exceptional . It’s a blueprint for all italian restaurants in town . Service was prompt, staff were extremely hospitable and the food was delicious . The restaurant Looks aesthetically great too . My table was wonderful and super comfortable with a lovely view.
