What an amazing local. We were in Wandsworth on an extended family holiday and had been exposed to a few gastro pubs. What a pleasure to find a real pub with great, affordable food, and well poured Guinness . The staff were chatty and friendly...and every time we went in we found new, friendly customers to talk to. After our first visit we said this would become our local, and it did. We took family members from various parts and they all loved our local. Looking forward to our next visit when we back next year .More

Superb Thai food served in this local pub. All the dishes ordered were very tasty and delicious. As a Pad Thai lover, this one was top notch. The ingredients used were fresh and nicely cooked. We'll definitely be back.

A decent pub with a low ceiling that make the place feel cozy, good range of beers and the Guinness was especially good. Did not try the food next time.

Just moved in on a short term lease in a flat round the corner as we are working on Putney High Street. Fantastic pub. Oranjeboom on Draught was superb. The Thai Food is as good as any Thai restaurant I've eaten in. Simply wonderful. Chatted...to the owner who is a really nice guy. Will be back in the very near future.More

An Irish pub with a Thai kitchen. A pint of Guinness and a Thai Red curry amazing. Also does British pub food, sirloin steak with chips £8. Is this the cheapest steak in London?

Came here with work mates for a leaving do, great selections of beers. Bottle Peroni £4.50, we got here late afternoon so food not being served till six, anyway sky TVs for your sports, friendly service, I have been here to listen to live music...before, overall a nice pub.More

I have been coming to this great pub for over 10 years and noticed the wonderful Thai food restaurant service has slipped. Even worse the portions of food have been reduced to child portions with reduce size rice bowls and main dishes of curries at...around 250ml or two thirds in volume of a can of coke. Unfortunately my almost weekly visit has now been reduced to only once a month as a result. Please increase the portions back to where it was and increase the price rather than reduce the portions. Hope the restaurant manager is listening or I am sure you will lose customers in the long run with such small portions from a loyal customer!!More

Well, what can I say? I had a lovely meal and was joined with my parents and such a splendid meal, size of what I ordered was just right, it was getting busy after ordering as there was big groups of what I presumed to...be Beatle fans, would defiantly come back for another meal in the future without a doubt. 10 / 10More

Every time I visit my Uncle, I get to go to The Hop Pole and it was a great to be able to take our friends with us this time. As usual, it was packed out with lots of friendly people. The atmosphere was amazing,...the music great and overall, just a great night! Just love it! The only sad thing was that we weren't there long enough to go back to have a Thai meal! Highly recommended! Can't wait to come back!More

6 of us came here to listen to the Wandle Deltas on Saturday, good band with great variety of music. The pub has a great selection of beers especially the San Migell on draft, friendly pub great service, usual London pub prices.

Living quite close to this pub I decided to try it with my husband. Lovely atmosphere, great prices and nice food. Thai/english pub! A nice match! Reccomended!
