Had Boxing Day breakfast at the restaurant, very, tasty food, nice atmosphere. Be aware you can only order one thing from the a la cart menu, please ask before you order.

My boyfriend and I went to London to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. Roux at the Landau just made our anniversary that bit more special. The service was spot on and the food was divine. The anniversary plate with the petit fours were incredible, they were absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend eating here, would love to come back again.

Excellent evening!! We came a bit early due to my girlfriend felt bad. Fantastic service the waiters took good care of us and we got our last course packed in a doggie bag so we could enjoy it at the hotel room. They only thing to add is, in my opinion, that more than 400£ is too much for two... More

I want to point out that I have been in this restaurant over 20 times bringing several friends here and I have always been pretty happy with the restaurant and the service I have received. Of course, certain things can always be improved (e.g. petit fours, appetiziers and bread selection) but this time I want to tell you of my... More

Having dined at many fine establishments I was most disappointed with the quality of the food. The turkey could have bounced back from the farm. In addition mince pies had to be requested instead of being offered and to complete this terrible place. The heating was on such a high setting that I should have come in my summer attire.... More

Being a lover of fine dining anything with the name Roux seemed a natural choice to add to our London culinary experience list. However, this has to go on the list as one of the most disappointing fine dining experiences I've ever had. We had their festive menu. The starter was average. One of the main courses was tasty enough... More

We booked a slot for the tasting menu, and enjoyed it but were not wowed. (Perhaps because we'd recently eaten at Bocca di Bupo and Petrus, which both ran rings around The Roux in different ways.) The food was good, but not terribly memorable, with a couple of exceptions: the beet salad was an unsuccessful mish-mash of too many wildly-varying... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
