We went there for dinner, and we were all terrified by the rude boss! We were a group of five, and there was a six people table assigned to us originally but we were then told to squeeze to a four people table given that the restaurant was empty! I requested the owner to give us a six people table,... More

Read some negative reviews, so we were a bit unsure but this was just around the corner from the Grange Hotel so thought we'd try it out. Actually, the food was very good. Its looks like the front room of someones house - its a small restaurant and on the night we went it was particularly quiet. Service was fast,... More

Very good food , good service, reasonable price and nice atmosphere. We particularly liked the Tom Kha soup. About £35 a head includes drinks and service charge. Fairly easy to find using Google maps , good menu variety although when we were there no prawn crackers!

This is my secret place which I am only prepared to share with you if you promise not to tell anyone else! It's informal, cheap, low key and yet serves the most excellent food out of a small kitchen. Highly recommended in an area that otherwise has few independent restaurants.

What we ordered was excellent and delicious. Very nice flavours. The place is small and intimate and we liked it. However my napkin was dirty it means it has not been cleaned before we arrived. In addition before giving us the plates, i saw the waiter (and apparently the owner of the restaurant) "cleaned" them with a cloth (the one... More

Dreadful experience . Sat down. Only people in there. Asked for Thai green curry and asked if rice would be separate as wanted to give my little girl some. (She's 3) Was told not to be so fussy and why didn't I order a separate meal for her. The man was so rude . In the end I walked out... More

This place isn't easy to find and once you get there you think , " is this the right place?" Go inside for a great family welcome , good quality and good value family cooked Thai food . Worth a visit .

Very disappointing and not cheap. Chicken and duck appear to have been pre-cooked and as a result dry and tasteless. This felt more like a cheap takeaway than a restaurant. Not what we were expecting.

Intimate, family run business ob a backstreet from Holborn. Always likely to get a table. Wide, accommodating menu and friendly. Opens lunch and every day.

Back street restaurant. Empty on arrival. This can be a put off but we went in. Pleasant greeting by owner and seated at a table. On first impressions, very dated and in need of a make over. A fair menu with a range of variety. Starter was very nice. 'King and I' between two. Curry was nice and cooked to... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
