Previous reviews have said it all! It was not too busy at lunchtime today and service was fairly quick. My avocado on toast was tasty enough but my wife's salmon and eggs had obviously been sat under a sunlamp for a long time, the eggs were plasticky, cold and overcooked and we had to send them back. We saw at... More

I went to the Chelsea branch (Kings Road). Upon arrival, the staff were very unwelcoming. I Ordered soup which came out cold....i told the staff and they brought it back luke warm with no spoon, waited nearly 5 mins for a spoon which meant my soup was then cold again (this was not taken off the bill by the way).... I live near the kings road, and enjoy many of the cafes there, nells, joe and the juice, Paul... but le pain de quotaine here is one to AVOID. My last three visits a have been a disaster, me and my boyfriend went on a Saturday it was packed with families and prams, we finally got a seat and ordered... More

I have been to many Le Pain Quotidien in London and this is surely the least favourite. Slow service and food not as good as expected. I dont think I would return at this store to eat.

Waited over 30 minutes for a sandwich and some scrambled eggs. The food was cold and overcooked. The staff weren't even slightly apologetic about keeping us waiting or the quality of the food. Needless to say, we had to send back one dish. To make matters worse, the staff were incredibly slow about bringing the bill and seemed to need... More

Do the best boiled eggs and everything is reasonably priced apart from the orange juice! For breakfast it's the money saving option in pretty, rustic surroundings with yummy spreads and jams for toast and organic food.

Went for brunch today, the service was awful. They forgot our food and coffee, when it came the cooked real fast was stone cold and my wife's boiled egg was cracked and half empty. My breakfast came back microwaved so hot but disgusting with ultra hard scrambled egg. We had to ask three times for the replacement boiled egg. No... More

Sign saying wait to be seated. So we waited. After a few mins and no one giving eye contact I saw a female looking manager speaking to staff behind the cake counter (also avoided eye contact) and asked if I could sit down. Yes. That's it. No apology. The place was not busy or even half full. Rude. Lovely girl... More

I used to come there for breakfast and lunch with my chihuahua. Then they banned dogs and I could only sit with my dog at the table at the entrance, which I was very comfortable with. Then the other day, I came for lunch with a friend of mine and my chihuahua. We entered and one young British guy with... More

Arrived at 10:50hrs, waited 15 minutes for a menu to be delivered. The staff did not seem to care. Waited another 6 minutes before walking out. The server at the till look absolutely surprised when we said "you are too slow". Although not a "fast food chain", the staff at Le Pain Quotidien, Kings Road Chelsea, should spend sometime at... Staying in Chelsea

Neighbourhood Profile
Chelsea
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
