We booked a table for for lunch on a Saturday after having walked past a few times. The interior is very nice and it's nice pub décor and feels relaxed. I'd say it had a nicer feel that most central London pubs. It was incredibly busy that day which may account for the rather slow service. Normally I don't mind... More

Had such a nice evening at this pub, the bar staff were very friendly and when we ordered food the service was great. They accommodated all our requests and the food was superb, I would definitely return again. (Was also pretty good for celeb spotting, ITV studios is opposite and Greg Wallace came in for a drink!)

Visited before watching the last leg being filmed. It is ideally placed across the road from the London Studios. Despite being a very busy Friday night we managed to find a table and never waited more than a few minutes at the bar. There was an excellent range / choice of drinks available as you would expect and some boozy... More

Had 28 day matured Angus sirloin chips and watercress with peppercorn sauce. Was lovely but not sure if it was worth £24. Sticky toffee pudding for dessert was really yummy. Atmosphere really nice. A stones throw from ITV studios. I would come back again for sure.

Called into the Mulberry bush on a Saturday afternoon with my partner. What a great family pub. We picked from the tapas menu and wasn't disappointed. Lovely chicken in buttermilk batter, 6 different tapas for under £30. Good selection of real ale. Highly recommended.

We were in a group of ten, and lunchtime was busy. However it took a long, long time for the food to arrive. When it did, the food was piping hot and extremely tasty. Would return.

Friendly pub, with attentive service. It was quite full by the time we left, having been seated in the attractive rear conservatory, It is also dog-friendly, High quality food, including the venison stew and duck breast, which we had. It is suitably close to the South Bank to warrant a detour.

I dined here with 5 friends for lunch over the Christmas period. After taking our order and bringing out a round of drinks, the food arrived relatively swiftly. However, that was as good as it got. From that point onwards we were completely ignored, despite repeated requests to be served desert and additional drinks. The staff were more content to... More

Called in for a beer and a sit down after walking for what seemed like miles around Covent Garden, the North Embankment and Borough Market and the South Embankment. On a Saturday afternoon just before Christmas the place was heaving with friends and families enjoying being together. It is not a traditional London pub and has a large open area... More

Staying in Southbank

Neighbourhood Profile
Southbank
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.
