The mash was full of flavour, but could have been creamier; the gravy was nice and savoury, the pie filling was tasty but the pastry was stodgy and stale - definitely not crispy and flaky, which is really what you want in a pie. The...More

usually love the meat pies here, mine this time was dry inside, the meat felt as if it had been reheated in a microwave, like leather. I could not eat it. All in all, what is usually a great little pie shop was not up...More

We visited on 3rd November around 5pm and were lucky enough to get a table. When we were seated there seemed to be a lot of walk ins that had to go and wait outside until a table was available. The restaurant is really small...More

It is not so easy to find such a high level of food. Ok you may think 'but it is just a couple of sausages', but it's definitely the best I have tried in London so far.

Good place for some of that comfort food. The smokey sausages are pretty good, as is their classic mash. I don't care much for their premium pork though, which is rather bland. I think it has gotten a wee bit too touristy for my taste...More

We are a small but very busy restaurant, based in the Carnaby Street restaurant area of Ganton Street accessible by either Oxford Circus or Piccadilly Circus tubes. We can cater for both large and small group and are the perfect location for celebrations or romantic dinners. Our restaurant layout represents a traditional English Pie & Mash shop interior, with wooden booths and marble top tables. The combination of our restaurant design and menu will leave you feeling as English as the Bow Bells. If you are a group of more than 4 people we recommend that you call the restaurant ahead to ensure that we can reserve our large table for you.Additionally, see our listing for our Mother Mash City branch based in the heart of London's Business City area. (Tube Station: Bank/Liverpool Street)
