The ten bells is always one of my favourite meeting places in London. It is always busy with a real buzz downstairs but for a quieter chat the upstairs often has a spare table The selection of beers is worth a visit and they always...More

Visited after a walk around Brick Lane street art on a Sunday, there was a guy sort of DJ ing in the pub with vinyl records and playing some old tunes which was enjoyable. Good range of beers and larger's. Central bar downstairs with plenty...More

Couldn't believe how busy this pub was on a Saturday afternoon opposite old Spitalfields market. Quite a small pub but very friendly staff and the bar area is very small surprised that 3 bar staff can serve behind it. Definitely recommend if you around the...More

Starting off point for a few drinks in and around Spitalfields Market. It was a hot summers day and thankfully there was ample standing room on the walkway outside the pub which, due to the good weather, was packed solid. We managed to squeeze in...More

This is a quirky little place, directly opposite Spitalfields Market, which has kept much of its period fittings but mixed them in with a more modern style, to create a great fun atmosphere. The bar staff are really friendly and chatty too. The food menu...More

Bar right outside spitafields market, this place gets seriously packed on a Friday night. Great place for an after work pint or two, but expect to stand outside.

Located in East London from the 18th century, but nowadays it is a busy place with good music and great beers. Also if you have previously read the story, when you go down to the toilettes, you can imagine that you will find Jack the...More

Typical, traditional, even historical pub. Plenty of beers to choose from, swift service, loud crowd, great people watching, especially outside.

We went on pub quiz night, which was a blast. A good selection of beers, very friendly staff and decent pub grub at a reasonable brief. You can pack in downstairs or get a bit more space upstairs.

For a glimpse of Georgian and Victorian London at its
most pristine, or a peek into what's apt to be the
next big global trend, the hipster zone of
Spitalfields can provide hours of amazement. Around
the clock, this is a haven for early morning bargain
hunters sizing up its street markets, foodie foragers
throughout the day, or late night revelers hitting
some of London's most popular bars and clubs.

Located smack-bang in the middle of Shoreditch and Spitalfieds lies the institution that is "The Ten Bells" pub. This iconic venue has existed in one guise or another since the middle of the 17th Century. Expect all walks of life in this bustling classic boozer at any time of the day or night. Beyond the listed tile work and villainous history lies a solid and well respected pub with an excellent range of quality beers and decent Bartenders. Jostle in with the crowds downstairs or climb a further floor to find comfortable seating and a unique atmosphere where you watch the world go by on the streets below. Whether you are looking for Beer, Wine or Cocktails, The Ten Bells has it all with a touch of class yet still understated much like its reputation.
