We were visiting London and wanted to try something a little different. One of my sons is a hard to please vegetarian with a huge appetite so usually I have to plan well beforehand where to eat. After booking online, we arrived 19 minutes late due to transport delays and also unfamiliarity with the location. We attempted to call a few times beforehand but there was no pickup. On arrival, we were told our booking was cancelled. We double checked their telephone number which was acknowledged, initially with what appeared to be a questioning of whether we indeed tried to call. My husband displayed the calls on his mobile and we were then kindly offered a table. After this, however; our experience became extreme positive. We had the most attentive attendant in ARNOLD, who couldn’t do enough. He was extremely polite, and very helpful with showing us how to use their system to make orders along with making recommendations which did not disappoint. The very fussy incessantly complaining son was very impressed with the food and also with Arnold which says a lot. Since it was lunchtime we didn’t order much (other than the always extra hungry son), and it equated to just over 40£pp which for amazing food isn’t bad. I suppose if it wasn’t for Arnold, I may not have had such a wonderful experience. THANK YOU ARNOLD. We would come again.

I went to this restaurant for a birthday meal. The restaurant was clean and inviting when we walked in with attentive staff and a futuristic atmosphere. We had a very friendly welcome and a comprehensive introduction to the ordering system and the extras that were offered with the projector. When we ordered the food it was relatively fast to come to the table which as great and everything that we ordered came as soon as it was cooked which we didn’t mind. The food however was not particularly authentic and was slightly more westernised that we were expecting with lots of fries and options on the menu. The sushi was fresh and good but again it tasted a bit homogeneous despite being different types. It was also quite expensive and I felt like I was paying for the restaurant and location rather than great food. I would highly recommend if you haven’t been before for the experience, but I don’t think I will be heading back any time soon.

Thanks for your feedback - sorry this didn't quite hit your expectations - the restaurant has been there for 12 years and we change the menu every 6 months following reviews and taster sessions with our guests. We will take your comments on board.

Lovely experience, first place I’ve ever been to with interactive menus. The food was delicious and reasonably priced and our waiter Dip Endra was attentive and made sure we got the best service possible and drinks topped up. Would recommend.

Went here with a friend for the unlimited brunch. This includes unlimited food and beer/wine for £42 each for an hour and a half. The service was second to none (thank you Dipendra). He made sure our drinks were regularly topped up, food was bought out promptly and was absolutely delicious. The bang bang cauliflower was a firm favourite! Would definitely recommend and return at the drop of a hat! Thanks for a wonderful time!

The restaurant is dark inside to give it atmosphere I suppose. We had a virgin voucher experience which I had emailed before hand (and the restaurant acknowledged the booking on that basis) but the Maître d didn't have it so it took some time to book us in. The tables are quiet close together were we sat, certainly closer than 2m; i undertsnad this is limited by the projection equipment, but some tables could be switch-off during the pandemic. The maitre d explained how the table projection menu worked and told us which menu to view. It was the wrong one and I again had to remonstrate with her to allow us to have the menu we'd paid for, which she conceded in the end. The unlimited tapas/sushi menu has about 22 choices. I tried 6 of the dishes which were all cooked well, had a good level of spice/chilli and a good portion size. Nice work kitchen, the food is very tasty. The waiters who brought the food out were polite and efficient. Prices are average for London but relatively expensive for this experience. The service charge and eco tax are not optional as stated on the bill, the maitre d stands over you reminding you they are payable; that's very unprofessional. While the food was tasty, the aggressive front of house spoilt our dining experience on this occasion.

Thought ordering our food with an interactive table would be quite fun but it was a bit fiddly to get the hang of. We were recommended the set menu as the best option but annoyingly the whole table had to sign up for it. We did question whether this was good value and although the waitress did think on the response, she did say dragon rolls are £17 so thought it was a good value meal option. I found the set menu pricey for what actually appeared as I was still hungry after finishing dinner. The main dish was the size of a side dish and the dishes in general came out in a haphazard kind of way which would have been fine if this was explained upfront. Drinks were really expensive.

We'd heard a lot of good things about this restaurant, both the interactive tables and the food. However, we were left seriously disappointed after our trip to Inamo. The interactive tables are a nice little gimmick but don't really have many games (2 in total) so the novelty quickly wears off. The interior was grubby with the tables feeling greasy and sticky, it felt like walking into a Pizza Hut restaurant. The food - Inamo charges premium prices for what are more like Wetherspoons standards. The gyoza were so soggy you couldn't lift them up without it falling apart - almost certainly microwaved as they came out within two minutes. The sushi, which we were really looking forward to, was by far the worst dish of the evening. At £17 for 8 pieces we were expecting something semi-decent. The rice was so mushy it had formed into one solid circle. When we asked the waitress about this, she took the plate away, without saying anything and we never saw anything of her after. No offer of another dish, nothing. Shortly after, we were asked to leave because our 1.5 hours was up despite not having a full meal. When the bill came, I asked to speak with a manager who rather than listening to our concerns, insisted on shouting that the 'food is fresh'. Would not rush back.

I had a very disappointing experience at Inamo Soho last night. I booked the £22 unlimited sushi menu which is advertised on Time Out London and the Inamo Instagram page. Both advertisements state you will get unlimited premium sushi including dragon rolls, samurai rolls, shrimp tempura etc (see images). Unfortunately, the all you can eat menu did not have ANY of these items on it. We told the staff who were very friendly and brought us a selection of premium sushi but it WAS NOT unlimited. The staff said Time Out had made a mistake but Inamo advertise it on their own Instagram. My review is a generous 3 stars because the food we did get was very tasty and the staff were very friendly. It must be BAD MANAGEMENT. I would love the opportunity to come back again and redeem the offer that I actually paid for.

Thanks for the feedback Nick - The offer was not available with EOHO as you are unable to use the voucher on that and we think that is what the confusion was about - we appreciate the generous score and support and look forward to your further custom

Was a little put off when we went in as it was small and dark and looked tired but once seated we were given instructions on how to use the menu on the table and the interactive games. We opted for the £26pp for 8 items menu and have to say although small tasters we were still full. The food itself was delicious and the service good. We had to ask for one of our dishes as they had forgotten to bring it but they brought swiftly enough and with an unnecessary apology. Would definitely visit here again and would like to try some more of their dishes.

We arrived a little early but were promptly seated and told our 90 minute unlimited food and drink deal would start from then. Our waitress (who I believe was called Zivile as we had to ask her name when we left - for the restaurant purposes she was tall and blonde with her hair up in a bun) was friendly, attentive and just topped off the whole experience perfectly. She showed us how to order and asked what drinks we would like; our drinks then arrived 2 minutes later! It was fun and easy to order and service was quick because as soon as a dish was ready, it was brought out. We believe it was Dipendra who looked after us (again, we had to ask for his name when we left as he was on a break) and he was constantly clearing the table of dishes we had finished in a non intrusive way. Between him and Zivile, we never wanted for anything. The food was amazing and there were over 20 dishes to choose from (we had 16 of them!) We particularly liked the pork belly, Sichuan chicken, summer rolls and the bang bang cauliflower but everything we had was delicious. When we needed a top up of drinks we had been shown how to call our waitress but we didn’t actually need to as Zivile had already preempted our order and brought us another drink. The tiniest negative was when these two staff went on their break, we then didn’t see anyone so maybe the experience depends on who you get? It didn’t really matter to us as we were leaving 15 minutes later but we did call the waiter/waitress (via the table) and no one came. Overall, an excellent experience and we are looking forward to booking again just make sure you go hungry as there’s so much food!

Absolutely awful! First of all, as soon as we entered we had to wait 10 minutes to be seated even though I had a booking. Then, we got seated and some items on the website menu were not on the interactive menu on the table, therefore I was confused. The table was not very clean and the seats were not comfortable. The food was not presented to how it was pictured. The five spice fries were not at all SPICY if anything they were sweet with hardly any seasoning on them. The sushi looked as if it has just been quickly rolled up and the gyozas had crumbs on the plate. My friend and I left right after starters since we were not happy. Lastly, we had to wait a while for cutlery and for sauces we requested, by this time the food was not as hot. Overall, it was an okay experience, personally, the vibe, environment, service and food was not worth the money I was paying for all and did not meet the expectations they perceived.

We had heard such great things about this place and the novelty of the interactive tables to order your meal brought us in. Sadly, we should have read the most recent reviews which I concur with: 1) very expensive for what it is. A plate of 8 sushi’s for £17 is extortion. The presentation of the food is great and the quality ok but not justifying this price. 2) service rushed. Every time we had a question or called the waiter we were made to feel that we were ‘bothering them’. The staff are on a mission to churn the tables as quickly as they can. 3) Poor cleaning. Under normal circumstances we would expect better than what we saw but in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic this is worrying: The interactive tables are very quickly sprayed before the next guest arrive but sadly the touch pad which every guest has to manipulate to order is barely given a clean. Ours had a hair stuck in and we observed how the tables were cleaned whilst we were in the restaurant to check if this was a mistake or a trend. Sadly, I can confirm it was not an isolated case. Things went from bad to worse when we went to the toilets downstairs which were left in an appalling state, dirty, no toilet paper, rubbish everywhere. We mentioned it to the staff and there seemed to be no surprise there - a quick ‘sorry about that, thank you and goodbye’. This restaurant needs to seriously review its cleaning routine. So overall, this experience was disappointing. Inamo Soho is a place I wouldn’t go to unless you have a voucher or a bottomless special deal. I would normally only give this restaurant 1 star but the novelty of the interactive tables was still fun so I give it 2.

Went for bottomless brunch to Inamo Soho with our friends and it was absolutely fabulous. Swiftly got our table when arriving there and then we were able to start ordering immediately due to the cool digital menu at the tables. Food is amazing with lots of choice of delicious dishes - dont miss the dragon roll and the sake glazed beans, absolutely to die for. the service was very quick too which was great. We went to quite a few bottomless brunch places in the city but sometimes your orders arrive very slowly. This was the first time we had plenty of food and plenty of drinks with a fresh bottle of prosecco without even asking. Especially thanks to Dipendra and Asmita who were so attentive and looking after us so much. We will be back!

My wife and I had booked the “all inclusive” experience through buy a gift. However it was a poor experience with distinctly average food. The “experience” menu is Very restrictive, and diners around us had remarkedly better prepared food. Some of the dishes tasted lovely, however presentation was poor, with a lot of the ingredients missing. Where was the papaya in the papaya salad, and the strawberries must have gotten lost on the way to our table! Included drinks were house wine, Prosecco, or beer, although the waiters did keep us topped up. The feature of ordering from the table was very hit and miss, with multiple dishes being brought of the same type, some going missing, and some reaching us cold. The end of the evening was summed up by one of the waiters going to every table and offering free drinks for a 5 star review then and there. So Be Aware! We were told last orders after 75 mins, so even our full 90 mins were not allocated, but by that time we had had enough of the mediocre experience. I suggest give it a miss!

Sorry to hear you were disappointed on this visit. We will pass on your feedback to our management team. Generally our unlimited menu receives very positive feedback, so we're sorry this was not the case for you on this occasion. The T&Cs are very clear, however, that the table time for this offer is 90 minutes with last orders for items 15 minutes prior to this. The experience menu typically has 30+ dishes on it which we feel is a lot, though we have unfortunately had one or two dishes sometimes not available as our suppliers have struggled to send us some ingredients since reopening. In terms of the team member offering free drinks, this should not be the case and we will look into this with our manager at that location. We do hope you'll give us another opportunity to impress you in future.

My family booked this restaurant for my birthday meal last year and I found the experience somewhat lacking. The food was okay, nothing to write home about but the service was absolutely terrible. The "interactive" table was laughable, constantly glitching out and it was so frustrating to use. We wouldn't have minded if we were able to at least order via a member of staff but tracking one of those down was a nearly impossible task. The upside is the cocktails were pretty good once they arrived but generally I'd say give this place a miss. Especially if you have anywhere you want to be i.e theater, we nearly missed the show waiting (again) for a member of staff to pay, despite booking the table with plenty of time.
