One of our favourite places! Were foodies but we don't eat out often because we've had so many indifferent, expensive experiences. We'd rather cook at home. So a place has to be pretty good for us to visit a second time. We love this restaurant...for its intimacy, friendliness, and authenticity... highly recommendedMore

We went all the way from Oxford to London to try the persian food here and I didn't get dissapointed in front of my friend! So lovely and welcoming staff. Actually this restaurant is a good representative of persian food for all those want to...try it for the first time. You should know about some regular ingredients used often in persian food such as saffron, barberry, pomegranate and pistachios and you'll find all of these in nice symmetry in their food... Their significant dish "tahchin" chicken and saffron rice was beautifully trimmed and smelled amazing. Also the special lamb neck was so well cooked and delicious. I really admire the management with their creative ideas for the drinks. You'll find different ones here. (saffron beer, saffron martini and pomegranate wine). About the portions and price they're quite fair in comparison to the other places I've been. I'll definitely go back again!More

I was invited here this evening to celebrate meeting my friend's fiancee and I have just been "wowed"! which is very difficult as I am very picky. The lovely lady Dea made our first encounter at Belgrave so memorable as she explained all the food...and drinks, was very personable yet professional. The food, the ambience, the music, the decoration, absolutely everything makes this an amazing experience and then on leaving one can write something in their guest book - just awesome! I will be returning very soon.More

The food does not have a constant taste. Sometimes it is better and sometimes it is worse. Not reliable for special occasions or if you take guests, it might embarrass you in front of your guests! There was a long female hair lying in my...dish, had to pick it up quickly before my guest sees it. The female cook never wears a net. The portions are very small. The dessert menu is extremely limited and there is no coffee served. The cups are copper and the water served in it smells metal. They have a food on the menu that has a very foul smell of fried herbs, we got a headache just sitting there! There are like 4 Iranian music tracks playing on repeat, which makes it very boring to sit there for an hour, you will have to listen to the same songs at least 3 to 4 times. The 1 - 2 waiters constantly eavesdrop your table's conversation and stare at you. It looks as if they have nothing else to do. We had some 50% coupons but they said they could not accept it without prior telephone call, which was utterly ridiculous!More

Second time at Belgrave. What a wonderful experience I’ve had. The food is so tasty, beautiful and well priced. Being from the area this is just what we’ve needed! Thank you to Amin for his amazing ideas. :)

What a beautiful little place here in Abbey rd / Belgrave gardens. Interior perfectly done. There isn’t a moment where you are left feeling bored in here, beautiful curtains, cups, plates and honestly everything else. Can’t wait to go back.

We went because my daughter and son in-laws wanted to treat us. Unfortunately the food not good at all. I am surprised that people are leaving good food reviews this was second time I had been there and frankly if you are Iranian don’t go....The service is good. The food not at all. I could not say anything as we were quests. Otherwise I would have said something. The bread was old. The tahchin was probably cooked a day before. 😔☹️More

We ordered our meal through deliveroo. One main course was £14 for 5 prawns in some sludgy lemony sauce. So very disappointing and very over priced.
