always hand in your overcoat or anything else directly with the Hotel cloakroom, hand it to the restaurant staff and you will have to wait awhile before they can find your belongings. We ate here as a family. Excellent French food. Definitely a cannot miss in London. Tasting menu is superb. Service is superb. Love the simple scallop starter. My favorite Rum baba desert. One of the best highly recommended.

For my birthday lunch we opted for the lunch hour menu, which included 3 courses and two glasses of wine, red and/or white and half a bottle of water, plus coffee/tea. All three courses were superb, and service was attentive and friendly. A couple of miscommunications with the orders: my partner ordered two glasses of white but was poured one... More

Alain ducasses London outpost opened in 2007, and by 2010 it won its third Michelin star. Alain ducasses cooking in London is taking a contemporary, modern approach while still having dishes giving a nod to classical French cuisine. To start the meal I had some butter with whipped cream which was lovely and light accompanied by cheese choux pastry or... More

We went there for lunch in December and had the festival menu as well as the tasting menu. All I can tell is you have to experience yourself and you won't be disappointed.

We had dinner at Alain Ducasse and opted for the tasting menus. It was an excellent meal from start to finish, even the breads and butter they bring at the beginning were amazing. The service was impeccable, with waiters even setting our plates and pouring the sauces in a synchronized manner. The dessert was so beautiful I had to take... More

We eat in Michelin Star restaurants very often - This made me question how it has 3 when others that are better have only 2, the food is nudging 3 but the service is a 2 at best. Visit Hospital Road!

The perfect example of fine dining to be had anywhere, the ambience is subtle although it can be a little noisy for some depending on the time and if it's really busy. The food was superb and matched by the service you would expect.

Fantastic lunch and definitely up there as one of my favourite restaurant experiences. Went for full on tasting menu and everything was exquisite. Portion sizes are on the large size which was surprising for a tasting menu. Not a cheap lunch out and totally spoilt but was worth it. Restaurant is lovely and not pretentious and had a good buzz... Truly one of the best restaurants I have ever been to, from beginning to end excellent service, the food was simply divine; layers of flavour as well as good atmosphere. Must go, can't recommend enough.

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
