Family of five, first visit to this restaurant, booked a table for 7.00 pm on a Saturday. Service was very good, friendly, accommodating staff. Drinks were average restaurant prices but we were kept supplied with tap water without having to ask for it. Delicious, freshly...cooked pizzas, reasonably priced, and a good selection of toppings - we each had a different one, and enjoyed them all very much. Very happy with our experience, would recommend, and will return.More
There were a few issues.
First, when waiting outside for my friends to join me, I noticed a guy in white clothing hanging outside smoking and spitting on the pavement. He turned out to be one of the chefs.
The burrata was not burrata -...it was dry and lacked the flavour of burrata. It was most likely something really inferior.
The pizzas I'd give them 6/10. Ok but not great, I think they use really rock bottom quality cheese.
The service was good and they took precautions for distance and hygiene.More
Came here on the first night they opened (and my first meal out since lockdown) and felt so welcome, and so safe! Tables are distanced, staff are attentive and make sure they don’t touch any cutlery/glasses unnecessarily. Pizza was AMAZING, so tasty and very well...priced. Had such a lovely night with my friend. Would thoroughly recommend!More
One of the best pizza in London, not many choices in the menu but only few and really good!
I have to say that the marketing strategy is very smart..the menu shows different kind of pizzas. However, for some of them you should pay a bit...more to add mozzarella or tomato sauce..it doesn't really make sense as the 2 basic ingredients of pizza are tomato and mozzarella..just saying!More
A belated first trip to this three year old addition to the local dining scene. I’m regretting my tardiness.
Pizza Brixton is everything a local pizzeria should be, and delivers exactly what it should.
Wonderful freshly made thin crust pizzas with generous toppings of all...the right ingredients, pasata, cheeses, mushrooms, spinach, prosciutto etc. Great wines (we really loved the Primitivo) at reasonable prices, a super home made Tiramasu, and a warming limoncello to send you off into the night air.
Faddy teens were accommodated with an off menu choice (chicken and ham), water regularly supplied to the table, friendly staff and the pleasure of eating in a lively family friendly restaurant by people who seem to enjoy their jobs.
We loved the prices too! Brilliant, well be back.More
The service first - a rainy lunchtime in half term. Not many people there. Nevertheless they managed to serve everyone very slowly in reverse order, so the large group who came in well after us ate first, and so on. A family who’d ordered before...we arrived were still waiting for their food as we left. A casual laugh from the waitress that yes, there’d been a mistake, but not an apology in sight. And those go a long way in the circumstances and might have prevented this review. As for the food, it tasted ok, but the centre of the pizza was a wet mess of toppings and the outside a thick wodge of dough. Everyone left most of their food. Maybe a bad day, a one-off? Still, never again for us!More
