This place was highly recommended to us last year and we've visited a few times since - bringing family when they visit too.
This most recent visit was after a walk round Greenwich Market seemingly shocked at the prices of a burger (£12-£14) and deciding to take a quick stroll to Eat Vietnam for lunch instead where mains are a similar price but much larger portions.
We settled on 2 mains and a side/starter to share and I'm glad we didn't get more as we often do and quickly regret it as all portions are generous and so filling.
We ordered the silken tofu tossed in spice as our side and the aubergine came out instead but it was quickly swapped. We didn't realise the tofu was fried as the menu doesn't state and in hindsight, we wished we'd ordered the aubergine instead or at least not sent it back when it accidentally came out!
My partner had phò which he really enjoys here and l always get one of the big bowls as they are so refreshing but I'm definitely going to try something new when we visit again next week.
But if you did get this far and what a
recommendation, don't sleep on the bánh khot - they're incredible!
Also, best Vietnamese coffee I've had in London yet here.
Finally, they don't add service charge on which not many places in London can say they offer so it’s worth noting for if you want to leave a tip you’ll need to leave cash or ask for your chosen amount to be added to the card transaction.

Consistently great food and atmosphere. Spring and summer rolls the best ever outside of vietnam itself. As for the prawn salad, squid and aubergine fries? Try not ordering these every time, but fail to resist. Plenty of pho but also wok fried noodles good. Every single guest we have brought here from all over London has raved about it, asked to come again and said they wished this restaurant was near them. We come here at least 6-8 times a year. Best to book online or by phone. However, they have expanded capacity - buying up premises two doors away. So now it is not too bad a wait if you just rock up. Can seat larger parties of 6 or more which used to be impossible at weekends. Good vibes and food. Expect to pay about £25 per head in a drink and service. Worth every penny.

There's plenty of Vietnamese restaurants around Deptford but this one's a bit different. Modern hipsterish decor and relaxed vibe. Good, short, reasonably priced wine list and a wider menu than usual, including really delicious BBQ options such as lamb steak, quails and sea bream as well as all the usual Vietnamese dishes. Salads and herbs fresh and zingy. Make sure you book...this place was buzzing on a wet Wednesday evening...

Hands down the best Vietnamese restaurant in london. The food was some of the best we have had, authentic, packed with flavour and simply delicious.
The service puts some fine dinning to shame, with is warm, friendly and professionalism. Speed is key here,but with any compromise on service.
Note that this place has two locations, one that doesn’t take bookings.
Recommend you book during peak seasons.

First trip to this wonderful place. Visiting friends and from Guildford, so a real treat to see how cosmopolitan the area is. Food was up there with the best Asian food we have ever had. Taste was exceptional and the food was top quality (no MSG or waking up with salt-induced dry mouth). Staff very responsive and friendly. Heartily recommend. Try it!

We booked a table in advance of our arrival. This is a small restaurant. We studied the menu and decided on pho (soup) variations and one Danang Noodles. This was an excellent choice as the presentation was great, taste authentic and quantity more than adequate. All good and it hit the spot. Not too pricy but a good deal for a real Vietnamese taste in London.

Super delicious food! Very surprising.
New for us, but very well helped by the staff. Gave good explanations, came with photos.
Also very friendly. Highly recommended. We will also eat Vietnamese food more often in the Netherlands!

I’ve been here.a few times. This time with my goody buddies with whom I sampled many of the menu delicacies and specials. Relative highlights were the quail and sea bream, but all we had was delicious. They’re increasing capacity with another one a few doors down, handy as it’s always full

We were taken here by good friends and what a recommendation! Small place but really well organised re Covid with full-length perspex panels between each table. So very comfortable and the range of food was really wide - you could come several times and choose something new. We shared several small dishes-summer rolls, little coconut pancakes and crispy aubergine and then had different big dishes. Every one of them was spot on with lots of fresh herbs. The boba drinks and iced Vietnamese coffee were delish.People were friendly and helpful so we will be making this a regular place to visit.

My Spring rolls had a Silica Gel sachet usually used in moisture free packaging which had ‘Do NOT eat’ written all over it. While one off cases are possible in any restaurant, their management’s response was ‘It’s not from our kitchen, now sure where it came from’. Unacceptable response from the restaurant. Obviously disgusted by the situation, We left our meal but we’re still made to pay for the whole meal. Not going back ever again.

⭐️In response to your allegations, you came in that night ordered your food, after ordering your food you left the restaurant and disappeared for at least 30 minutes. You came back with some kids toy packaging, sat back down and then started complaining about our food which has obviously now gone cold. We kindly changed the curry which you complained that was too dry which has obviously gone cold , you all FINISHED your meal and then on the last piece you found this item in your food. We tried to resolve the matter but obviously you had other intentions, you started filming us, wanting to sue us, calling the police, these acts is not of the norm, by this time we had enough and said let’s wait for the police to come and investigate further. After a while you then decide you wanted to leave.

Fabulous!! Buzzing vibe, friendly staff, fantastic food!
Everything cooked and served to perfection.
We went on Thursday eve at 8pm, it was full. I had been trying for ages to get a table, definitely need to book ahead..well worth the wait.

We booked for a party of ten for a pre-cinema dinner with family. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating and service was swift and attentive. Every dish we tried was delicious and clearly cooked fresh. Will definitely go back when next in the area.

I would recommend this restaurant as the best Vietnamese restaurant in London.
I have been coming here for three years and never been disappointed. Food has its signature taste that you cannot find any where else.
My most favorite dishes are
BBQ grilled quail
Mini savory coconut Pancakes
Sweet potato fries
Especially, today the restaurant introduce me the new drink: salted caramel matcha latte, which is unforgettable taste - perfect.
I always choose this when in London.

This place is just a bit special. The menu has a really modern feel (with dishes like sweet potato fries and steak for any friends that aren't into Asian food) but the flavours are so traditional and authentic. Every thing I eat here is beautifully presented and tastes amazing, and I highly reccomend the Bahn Cuon which most Vietnamese places don't do, its a must try!
