We stayed on the Sunborn yacht as an early Xmas pressie for my wife. Booked a table here online three days in advance as there are few restaurants open by the yacht and this one had by far the best reviews. We turned up on...the evening and they were closed, leaving us totally in the lurch. We ended up going to the Chinese Palace over the road, despite the fact that the reviews were pretty poor we had a lovely meal.More

Fabulous dinner 🍽

Thoroughly enjoyed our family dinner tonight, the best halloumi starter and the best ribeye steak with peppercorn sauce and divine chips! Fantastic service just very sad to see how covid has affected the number of covers. Thoroughly recommend if in the dockside or staying at...the Sunbourn Yacht 🛳More

Nice Lunch, friendly Staff

We popped in here for lunch because it was close to where we were staying and had good reviews. At first we weren't sure if it was open because it was quite dark inside and no one else was in there, but a gentlemen came...to the door and we decided to go in. It was a quiet afternoon for them I think as we were the only people in the restaurant but the waiter was very friendly and the decor was lovely. We ordered two burgers and chicken goujons to start. The food took a little longer to come out that I hoped but I understand that they didn't have any previous customers before us so everything was made from scratch. The goujons and burgers were very nice, a decent sized portion and fresh. The bathroom wasn't great, there wasn't much hand gel and the vent in the ceiling was very dusty so I don't think it had proper ventilation. Otherwise a lovely lunch with very friendly staff. Would recommend!More

Friday night dinner

Went here for dinner with the family and the food was so nice. We had halloumi, fried prawns and calamari for starters which was delish. The steak and the lamb chops were sooooo good will defo be back again !

evening meal and light refreshments

Having visited the excel a few times,have just found this diamond in the rough over looking the dock. Staff excellent. Couldn't do enough for us! Lamb chops to die for!! 8 1/2 out of 10 all day long.

Great Place

Lovely chicken meal. Friendly and attentive service. Brothers that run the restaurant are great. Nice view if the docks. Good value. Highly recommend and hopefully trade will increase after all the recent restrictions.

I don’t like to leave 1 star

I don’t like to leave 1 star reviews but in this instance I feel I have no choice. People should be aware of what awaits them. I am so surprised by the 4 star trip advisor rating that this place has. Yes it is cheap...but the service and cleanliness was very poor. From the website it looks like it might be fine for a business dinner - trust me it’s not. The server was friendly enough but I’m afraid that was not enough to forget just how bad this place was.More

Shockingly Bad

Shockingly bad experience.. laminate menu, terrible service, chef and waiters wearing tracksuit bottoms, wrong dishes served to guests, starters ordered but never arrived, food thrown together, it was so bad it became fun.

Beautiful steak at real prices

We had a beautiful rib eye steak special here on a quiet February Saturday evening. Seasoned to perfection & great price considering the great setting in London. Helpful waiter. Could have done with some background music for ambience but would recommend.

Great service

Went there for my 21st birthday meal, and it was absolutely lovely. The food was tasty with great portions, and for the location very reasonably priced. The absolute stand out of the restaurant though was the great service of the staff, they really could not...do enough for us, even got me a cake for birthday. Highly recommend!More

Honest reasonably priced food

Ate alone this evening..not normally something I enjoy. This is a simple place, serving simple honestly priced food. I had the rib eye steak and it was properly seasoned and cooked as ordered with really nice pepper sauce. Food as it should be which can...be hard to find. Good service with one nice guy seeing to all the tables and he moves quickly and could only see one person in kitchen. It shows what can be done with good work ethic. Highly recommend.More

Excellent food at great prices!

Eeshi’s kitchen has great food and the staff is so hospitable and accommodating to your needs! I came back two days in a row! Highly recommend!
