Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What an amazing small restaurant and the meat is juicy, well seasoned and tastes good!!! Very good, but it would be good if they gave free Turkish coffee after the meal. Proper traditional Turkish restaurant

Terrific find. In a place where you are so spoilt for choice for restaurants, Laz is an absolute gem. Food was incredibly good and more interesting than the standard Turkish meze, generous portions and the team where delightful. Service was gracious and they genuinely wanted...us to have a great experience there. Highly recommend.More

This place is absolutely very friendly as always. We are coming here for a special occasion. I absolutely suggestion Albanian liver and Mixed grill, so fresh, so delicious. Then of course Trilice with a Turkish coffee. Thank you for everything ❤️

Laz along Parkway is near the best Camden has to offer. There’s an excellent and moderately priced set lunch from which I chose fried squid as a starter, then lamb lofted with rice and salad as a main. All very satisfying with complimentary flavours and...textures. But the piece de resistance was tirilice said to be a multilayered Balkan speciality of ‘three milk cakes’ topped with caramel. A pleasant interior and friendly service.More

Arrived in Camden early for a show nearby, so wandered in looking for good meal options. Pleasantly surprised by the food. Fig dish, hummus, prawn pot, beetroot salad and bread, turkish coffee and delight were on point. Crispy manti with yoghurt was not as expected...(although the owner did explain that it was different). Apart from a mixup in the orders with haloumi and falafel not meant for our table sorted by Ahmet, we enjoyed the dining experience. Would visit again.More

The food is really, really good! We ordered a cocktail that had procecco and fresh mint, it came, minus the procecco and mint. The guy apologised and said he would remove it from the bill. We then ordered a pornstar martini and a raspberry mojito....Our drinks came, both in a short cocktail glass, of course mojito is a long drink with ice. We thought they had maybe made a mistake and gave us a lychee martini (as that was the only pink short cocktail on the menu) we brought this to the waiters attention and he abruptly said "NO, we don't have lychee" and walked away!! I waited for another waiter and asked him does a mojito come in a tall glass or a short glass, a tall glass he confirmed. I explained we ordered a mojito and got this short cocktail, he apologised and swapped the drink, no problem. We then ordered 3 desserts- a chocolate brownie, a milk pudding and a baklava, the milk pudding came covered in the pistasios that were supposed to be on the baklava. We shared the brownie (which was truly the worst, stale brownie I've ever had) and left. The original rude waiter sorted our bill overly stating that he took off the 2 wrong drinks (charged for the mojito obviously) and that he didn't charge for the two deserts they messed up and that were sent back. It's as if we should be thankful that they weren't charging for their mistakes!! Our bill was still £106 for 2 people which we paid but no apology or anything for the continuous mess ups which is quite a shame as the food was very nice.More

I was about in Camden and really fancied a Turkish meal. I quickly googled and found this to be 2mins from me. I ordered a lamb chops meal to take away. I always substitute rice for bulgur as it’s my favourite. I should’ve seen the...red flag when I was told they don’t serve bulgur or lamb ribs (I initially asked for lamb ribs) !!!! Anyway I settled for rice and the lamb chops - when I got home I was so disappointed. There were 4 tiny chops and no lie 2 table spoons of rice… not worth the £17.50. The chops weren’t flavoursome at all. If I lived closer I would’ve returned this whole meal. Truly disappointed. Another red flag was the fact it was empty minus 2 people eating in at 7pm!!! They must only thrive for in house dining.More

Warm welcome, cold beer and great food. Perfect lunch really, if I was being really picky the waiter didn't need to point out 'no service charge' twice. Then when I didn't tip his smile faded. I was planning on leaving a cash tip, but changed...my mind at that point. But don't be put off. It's a very good place.More

Lovely food, service, and atmosphere. This place is a real gem in Camden and we will be back! The mezze sharer was epic. All that was missing was vine leaves - please add these to your menu!!
