Lovely restaurant with a nice and relaxed atmosphere Food was delicious, and really nice to share and try different things.

Stumbled across this very last minute on a Saturday night and fortunately they had space for me and a friend. Nice atmosphere and decor. The food was lovely and the cocktails took us by surprise - delicious, beautifully presented, creative and unique! A proper curated...list rather than a regurgitation of the same classics you come to expect. Table service was a tad clunky at times (I think we had a very friendly and well meaning but new member of staff though so it’s understandable!) but we still enjoyed it. Price-wise, it felt ‘okay for London’ but possibly a tad more expensive than I’d like to pay for the style of experience and food we had. Nevertheless, a really lovely place that I’d definitely return to! I think it would be ideal for dates etc.More

I visited on a Friday night, booking in at 6.30pm. We must have been asked 5 times to order food in first 10 minutes. Even before drinks. After we had ordered and got drinks, enjoying the great food and cocktails. A waitress came over and...told us we had to leave in half an hour as they needed our table back. We still had half our food and three quarters of a bottle of wine! I asked if we could sit at the bar and she said she would find us a table near the bar so we could finish our drinks. She did, and approved it with the manager. 10 minutes later when we moved, the manager came over, told us that we needed to move and sit somewhere else. Despite agreeing we could sit there, she changed her mind 10 mins later and said "you'll need to move as we have people coming in". As if we weren't also people... Clearly, these people had just turned up and she saw a chance to get more paying customers in by kicking us onto a bar stool out of the way. By this point I'd already ordered another drink for myself. We were just gathering our things to move after agreeing between us that we would choose to ignore her rudeness and stay and enjoy our drinks, when she came over 30 seconds later, and told us to hurry up! I couldn't believe it, so we cancelled my drink order and took the half bottle of wine we had ordered home! The management was trying to cram as many people in as possible. It's entirely the fault of greedy management who are ruining the experience for customers. The whole thing felt very rushed and it was like a conveyor belt of diners! This is not what you should expect in a restaurant where you've paid over £100 for small plates and a few drinks. It was the worlds most over priced fast food restaurant. I won't be returning despite it being lovely food and the waiting staff were very friendly. It was the management that has let everyone down... Her attitude was dreadful, so rude, and not at all one for customer service. We explained why we were leaving and all she said was "I'm sorry you feel that way". It's such as shame as I live less than 5 minutes away and I have been trying to find time to come to this restaurant but due to Covid etc it's been tricky. If the experience was more pleasant, and we weren't made to feel an inconvenience, I would have been visiting this restaurant all of the time.More

Interior is nicely done, service was not great, rock hard toast, kids requested plain pancakes, came with banana in them and on them. Waitress announced plain pancakes putting them down covered in banana, very strange. Still fairly new so hopefully it improves.

We came in for dessert after we had been for food elsewhere. Chic design, relaxed vibe, good service, nice wine and my friend, who needed dessert raved about the frangipan tart. She said it was delicious. I'll definitely come back to try and the food....For me this was a first time out socialising with networking connections in real life for a long time. The relaxed vibe helps although I am still used to being the only person who wears a mask when moving around a place and, although I'm getting used to that and trusting that venues are doing all they can to work around Covid, it still feels a little weird.More

Absolutely an amazing dinner with cocktails which are divine! Cannot fault the service, food and drinks. Great ambience, decor was very inviting and relaxing. Group celebrating a friends 50th birthday. Food was exquisite and cannot wait until our next visit. Wish we had visited sooner...and a short walk from Clapham Junction train station. So easy to commute and so worthwhileMore

Ate here during the first sitting on a Saturday evening for a friend’s birthday. It was my first time to Little Bird and I loved the decor which was understated but beautiful. Started off the evening with cocktails- all looked amazing and my margarita was...PERFECT (it’s been a while since lockdown) As were were a group of 7 we ordered everything to share which I loved. It’s so much better getting to taste an array of food and flavours. All the dishes were exceptional so cant pick one stand out dish. Waiting staff were very attentive. Everyone had a wonderful evening. I wish the owners would put one in Sutton!More

My friend booked a table for us at 6:30pm Thursday night. Food was super delicious, and cocktails which I had was best I've got for a loooong time. Waitress was very attentive, I only needed to look around and there she was! And she always...knew what we will be looking for. Place is not too big, very cozy, nicely styled. Definitely I would recommend for anyone to go there. Five stars from me and for sure I will be back.More

A ‘little bird’ told me about this place and wow it did not disappoint! A stylish, elegant restaurant/cocktail bar with a lovely romantic patio at the back, complete with soft blankets to keep you cosy and warm. The service was faultless and the small plates...were generous size portions, cooked to absolute perfection. The food arrived and you should have seen the smile on our faces! 😃 The blackened cod was so delicious, an Asian explosion in the mouth. Soft shell crab tacos! What a great invention, served with salsa and avocado. Goan prawn curry was a light curry, the spices delicate to ensure it didn’t overpower the prawns. Chicken wings were crispy, spicy, succulent and juicy and very messy to eat but worth it! Perhaps not the dish to order if you’re on a first date! The strawberry pannacotta was so fruity and the texture was just perfect, it just melted in the mouth! Passion fruit cheesecake a perfect combination of sweet and sour. On their website I found their ethos statement ‘ We are passionate, personable, warm, vibrant, confident, creative and fun and we’re obsessed about service and committed to excellence in everything we do. We’re all ‘About You’. We love to make people happy and constantly strive to provide an experience that’s unique and memorable.’ The experience I had today was just exemplary and lived up to their mission of how they want their customers to feel during their visit. I would highly recommend this restaurant and cannot wait to go back and try the rest of the dishes. 💗 this place. My ratings for this place: Ambience: 10/10 - quirky, trendy, cosy, friendly and relaxed. Food - 10/10 if I could have eaten any more I would have ordered more! Drinks- good choice of cocktails with happy hour and other drinks. Value For Money - 9/10 well worth spending your hard earned cash here, amazing food in a lovely setting . Overall Rating - 10/10 Cannot wait to come back here and will be bringing friends here even if I have to travel an hour to get here! #foodrestaurantreviewerMore

My friend and I went here on a Friday evening. We booked for 6.30 and when we arrived we were told they would need the table back at 8.15. No problem as that seemed like plenty of time, although longer would have been better. The...menu states 2-3 plates per person but when we ordered we wanted to check the amount we ordered seemed right for us. The waitress quickly said “yes that’s fine” without even making eye contact with us, clearly not wanting to comment more. We ended up with a mountain of food coming out our ears! Definitely 2 plates each would have been plenty! Lesson learned but I would have expected the staff to know what to recommend. The food was delicious but around 15 minutes after all our food arrived (it was slightly staggered) we were approached again by another member of staff who warned us that they would need the table back soon. This was at 7.30. We tried to get through as much as possible but felt a bit uneasy being this rushed especially when there was 45 mins left before needing the table back. We spent the next 20 minutes eating as much as we could but by 8 pm we still had so much leftover that we requested to take the food away with us. We were promptly thrown a polystyrene box to do it ourselves with absolutely no offer to help. We found this odd as anywhere else the food would have been taken away and put into a box for us. We then waited for quite a while for someone to come to take payment, despite being so rushed to leave. By the time someone came over to do this, it was 8.20 which was frustrating as we could have spent that time actually enjoying our dinner! Overall, yes the food was great and the decor amazing but I’m not sure I would go back just because of the terrible service. Such a let down.More
