The food here is gorgeous and healthy. It is vegan but my non vegan husband couldn’t wait to go back. We had lunch on a Saturday then dinner a few nights later at his suggestion . He loved the soya chicken satay and had both...times. I had the soya lamb on nan bread, the miso noodles, the mash mixed sweet potato and pumpkin and a juice with berries over the two visits. Everything was healthy and perfect. Amazing staff. Cannot wait to go back.More

We had been prepared for a buffet type raw food experience, but that is no longer the business model. Instead we were treated to one of the best plant based culinary experiences that we have ever had. We had the Teriyaki Fish for starters. This...was highly unusual as it is difficult to get vegan fish right. This proved to be delicious. For mains we had the Mushrooms with Mashed Potatoes and Tempeh as an add on, and the Exotic Curry with Soya Lamb. Both were again delicious, with a perfectly balanced range of nuanced tastes. For dessert we had the Chocolate Fudge Cake, again well balanced, not too heavy or too light. In summary a wonderful experience. Very nice setting too, a calm place in comparison to the street outside. Excellent service too. Highly recommended!!More

We visited for dinner a couple of weekends ago. We didn't book but didn't need to. We both had the 'make your own' kombucha to drink, I had raspberry and ginger which was really nice. I had the raw Thai salad to eat (and a...side of soya chicken), it was so delicious, you wouldn't have known it was raw.More

Fantastic vegan food in a warm environment with lovely staff too. The dishes are original and delicious. Something for all tastes. Great value. Could not recommend highly enough. A must when in London.

Disappointing! We booked our table for 5pm, we had to wait until 5.10pm for them to be open, waiting in the rain! Waiting staff were very nice and friendly. We had chosen this restaurant as it came up on Google and reviews as being oil...free restaurant, but the food certainly wasn’t free of oil. The food was at best average, not very tasty I wouldn’t be bothered about returning which is a shame as we love to support independent vegan restaurants.More

PROS: Central location. Friendly and welcoming staff with good service. Delicious handmade dishes. Vegan, sugar-free, gluten-free, dairy-free, artificial chemical carcinogens-free, peanuts/cashew-free, GMO-free. CONS: Expensive considering that some of the dishes are 'raw'! I arrived over 40 minutes earlier than my guests as they were running...late and I was running early! The staff at the restaurant were very welcoming, as they kindly ushered me to a place in the almost-empty restaurant to charge my phone battery. The quietness of the restaurant as well as the kindness of the staff made me feel comfortable to wait for my friends. This restaurant is in the basement quite central to Chinatown, Soho. Although there was little to no phone signal, there was an option of free WiFi. I ordered the 'Exotic Curry served with rice' with the 'Soya Lamb' addition. I do not have a vegan diet so I was unsure what to expect, but it was delicious. It is quite spicy, so be careful if you have a low spice tolerance. They did, however, make a non-spicy version for my friend that has a low tolerance and he said that his curry was just as tasty. The portion was a lot smaller than expected and it is bulked up with large cuts of vegetable. I also ordered their chocolate and hazelnut baked doughnut and ice cream. I found that although the doughnut didn't have the same texture of a fried doughnut and more of a 'sponge-like' cake, the icecream was delicious. The dessert was also not too sweet! My main (with the addition) therefore came up to £18.40 without service charge. This is a lot more expensive than expected, but I think this might be understandable since they have told me that they make the ingredients (including the icecream) by scratch using non GMO and gluten-free ingredients.More

Right in the heart of tourist and theatre land this little vegan gem of restaurants. I had some brown rice noodles and vegetables. Hearty warming food and fantastic service. Toilets could be cleaner... Great price.

What an odd place… the wait staff were the only redeeming feature about this place. As a vegan I always like to try new vegan places but I shan’t be frequenting this spot. The new menu was odd at best and almost inedible at worst....I ALWAYS finish my food because I don’t like waste but I couldn’t eat half of the meal… the starters of crackers with vegetables on were pleasant but nothing to write home about and when slapped with the bill of £59 for 2 people I was gobsmacked… wouldn’t recommend at all…More

Menu was Gluten Free as well as Vegan, and staff were knowledgeable about coeliac, so was able to advise me on items prepared offsite. I just had a drink & snack which was good, meals looked delicious. Staff were friendly & welcoming, worth a visit.

Vantra's dishes are the perfect mix of hearty and fresh. They are filling and really healthy. Fresh veg and salad on the side, really tasty rice. Absolutely gorgeous, stunningly delicious food. AND their puddings and juices are wonderful. The atmosphere is really cosy and chilled...out, you don't have the frantic buzz which can make a restaurant less relaxing. There's just quiet, chilled out music which doesn't interfere with your thoughts or conversation. A beautiful oasis of calm in the middle of London.More
