Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A nice little cafe with a very pleasant atmosphere. Seems popular. Latte was a bit pricey, but was just the job on a cold morning. I wasn't eating, but the pastries and snacks looked nice.

The owner is absolutely rude. There is a lovely young Italian lady who was very helpful especially when I had forgotten my bag she gave it back. She refused to take my £10 tip because they are not allowed and instead u put it in...the jar and the owner takes it. .HE DONT SHARE THE TIP. Pls DO NOT TIP THIS PLACE. The poor staff won't get it. What a disgrace!!More

Perfect place to stop midday for a coffee and pastry. They have amazing looking sandwiches and breakfast as well but I was more impressed with their bakery/ baked goods. They had more selection than another nearby

Lovely and welcoming cafe. Cosy, yet spacious. Friendly staff and beautiful location. We will be sure to visit again next time we're in London.

Stopped here for my birthday breakfast and found the male at the till very rude.We ordered traditional English which didn’t list the items, when we asked what it consisted of he rudely replied the typical English breakfast stuff, when received saw there was no mushrooms...or hash browns etc….so not what we had at other places the days before in a full english. When we asked if we could have scrambled eggs instead of fried he rudely refused asking how he could do that but scrambled eggs were also on his menu. There was an option with my sons ciabatta to add extras, when we asked if we could order extras and have it on a seperate plate as we noticed the ciabatta plate being used was a small plate, he refused. Not a pleasant experience :( In hindsight we should have left and gone somewhere else!More

We had breakfast here a few times. We went there mainly for the great traditional breakfast that they serve here! Good portions and fast service! This place was always packed inside and out!

Incredibly rude staff that didn’t deserve our money! Visited with my family for breakfast and the male member of staff was clearly having a bad day. We weren’t acknowledged when entering the cafe and met with an abrupt response and a roll of the eyes...when asking a question about the menu.More
