We had an excellent meal, quite large portions and we couldnt eat it all. I had a chicken jalfrezi which was very tasty, despite chillis not being present. Very well spiced. My wife had a half tandoori chicken which we specially asked for to be mild and they delivered. Would recommend this place absolutely, a good replacement for the Rayners Tandoori, which closed a year or two back. The rice comes in large portions - if you order from them, Id recommend that you get main courses that come without rice and share one rice between two.

So after the Xmas food was over post Boxing Day, we decided we needed something spicy. My wife recommended trying Bamboo House so we checked on Just Eat and we outside their delivery range, but we rang up and they delivered! The lamb biriyani was full of flavour. We also had Popcorn Chicken, Garlic and Chilli Fish, and Chikken Tikka, which all fantastic. The only gripe was they gave Tandoori wings rather than the Tandoori Chicken. Will definitely order from there again!

Place is really busy, my favourite in Harrow, Great service and kind staff.
My mum has trouble walking and they were kind to make she had an accessible table. Super nice touch.
People were queueing outside,Management tried to allocate the tables as soon as it becomes available, Personally I think diners should cooperate to finish the meal as soon as possible so that waiting families get the seat, as everyone would like to be part of Eat out to Help out.
Great place to have Authentic Indian Meal.

Family friendly restaurant with great ambiance and service. Have been there with my family and friends on multiple occasions and the experience has always been best if not better. Food is always excellent and flavourful, a true INDIAN restaurant - VERY RARE to find!
Restaurant was participating in Eat Out To Help out scheme and used a 'booking in advance' system to accommodate to everyone's needs while maintaining social distancing. All tables were sanitised before and after a customer left and staff were obliging protocol at all times.
Wonderful place!

Six of us dined on eat out to help out scheme. Felt safety measures weren’t upto the satisfaction and place was so cramped.
Foods were delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Paneer shalek was burnt and onions were raw in it but replaced to the standard it meant to be. Hyderabad briyani and butter chicken were top notch out of all we tried.
Downside is customer service which led me to give 3 stars. None of the staffs were attentive or friendly and we hope the management realises and train the staffs or implement standard customer service to thrive the business. would not go back any time sooner.

Food was very average and found it to be lacking flavour. Service was terrible, the waitresses seem very slow to attend to tables, preferring to stay at the back of the restaurant. A number of tables seem to be waiting a long time to get their table cleared or order food/drinks. Restaurant wasn’t very busy but they seem to attend more to takeaway orders with delivery drivers coming in and out all the time. Sadly we won’t be returning.

Pros: nice decor for a Rayners Lane restaurant. BYOB, mixed grill was ok. Cons: food quite spicey, a bit overly so even though we ordered medium, food not that great, Papdi chaat distinctly untasty, chilli garlic fish was a buttered oily mess, service slow and lacking. We all decided we would not revisit.

One of the best Indian foods that you can find in London UK. Our family and friends love this place and whenever we have a party or friends get-to, the 1st ask is to order food from Bamboo House. Do try out the Hyderabad Chicken/Lamb, Paneer Shashlik, Hara bara Kebab. Highly recommend this place

Ordered food for home delivery considering current.
Amazing food especially maharashtrian cuisine items. Tambda russa mutton was delicious.
And very few indian restaurants in UK do gr8 chicken lolly pups similar to the ones u get in India...Bamboo house is definitely an exception and will be the one i would go for if i crave for chicken lollies.

food was very cold and tasteless, my friend and I went hungry and also it’s false promotion of what is advertised, as mentioned by previous review. The Advert says buffet breakfast but it was not. Service was very poor and slow. Will never go again and will not recommend this restaurant. There was only one person serving. There were few people there and they all were very disappointed and all complained but waiter could not do anything as there was no manager there. really awful. Don't go there, waste of time and money.

Went here for the first time and were very disappointed with the slow service due to priority given to take away to moped riders. It’s seems similar situation was reported here a year ago, but things have remained the same. Food was tasty with good portions and price. Service was so slow, people were getting up from their tables to seek waitresses attention. I would not attend this restaurant again. Avoid…

Hi,
Writing this review to save others from wasting their money and time by visiting this place.
This was my third visit and trust you me they have been consistent with their horrible service and pathetic food. Had to literally beg for the basics like laddle and spoons. How do they expect to take chole gravy from a deep container with a spoon. Food and services are much better in funral services. Have loads ti write but have wasted enough time and energy on Bamboo House dont wish to do further.

Jai Ganesha. A really blessed and holy breakfast at Bamboo House. One of the best and blessed breakfasts I’ve had this year. Delicious food. Unlimited, hot Gujarati breakfast. Best puris in the south-east of England. Yummy masala chai and simply sensational potato curry. Very homely, absolutely genuine and feel so satisfied. I look to coming back. Want to send all my love to this place.

The food is GREASY and very spicy. Even after being told that we want it mild. The lady behind the counter was very rude. Even though the restaurant was empty but she said she has no time to listen to the complaint and refused to give her name. They have Food Hygiene rating of 3 only. Easy to guess as the cutlery was not washed and cleaned properly.
