My boyfriend and I came here for my Birthday celebrations and wow, what a delightful evening we had here. The food was nothing short of top quality; we had the Bucatini Amatriciana which was just wonderful! Proper authentic Italian where every mouthful just wows you...with flavour each time. There was also a basil plant on our table and the waiter cut some of this off then put it in a little pot with some olive oil for us; we used this to dip our bread into which was lovely. The waiters also put the happy birthday song on for me and brought out a free tiramisu with a candle in and then sung to me; a lovely gesture that was very well received :). On top of all of this, the general ambience in this restaurant is so welcoming and cosy. The staff were all wonderfully accommodating, polite and atttentive. We would highly recommend this to anyone - please support this fantastic business!More

This is a hidden gem in London. Authentic, delicious Italian food. The service was impeccable and they went out of their way to ensure we had a memorable evening. The pinsa starters are not to be missed! Highly recommend!

Very small restaurant but exceptionally cosy and packs. a real Italian punch. We went as a couple for an early pre theatre dinner . Very helpful waiters and a real character called Mario made our visit a triumph. The food was second to none and...the best outside of Italy for sure. The wine we ordered was not available but the wine that was then recommended proved to be a real winner. The food was extraordinarily excellent . I had the pasta with oxtail ragu and my husband had spaghetti with artichokes, pork cheek and truffle and we both relished every delicious, generous forkful! Mario declared that their Tiramisu is the very best and we cannot argue with him. Not only that but the music was a real bonus to the atmosphere . Me and my husband went for our 10 year’s anniversary. And it was incredible! Very authentic Italian experience. The food was just from another world . And our waiter Mario was extremely welcoming and gave the best advise!!! We will definitely will be back.

Really lovely meal in Osteria Romana last week. Chose the spaghetti alla carbonara and was not disappointed, I can honestly say that it was the best carbonara that I have eaten outside of Rome (where I lived for 15 months many years ago). Staff were...polite and attentive, and it was a lovely end to a great day in London!More

Visited with my friend (who's from Rome) for dinner, we were not sure what to expect. Surpassed expectations completely- food was delicious, excellent drinks menu and service and we were treated like princesses! We will be back.
