We loved the sausages and eggs and the goat cheese/avocado sandwich. The best part however was the shop owner. He was so warm and kind and took the little extra time to make us feel very welcome. Definitely worth going back to for more.

I followed trip advisor reviews to have lunch here. It was everything others had promised, lovely fresh lovingly prepared food at a brilliant price. My wife had a cease salad and I had a bruchetta baguette. Lush!

We used TripAdvisor to plot a route to a place that looked right; wanting something fairly light to eat with a glass of wine (our raison d'etre). Located in a French quarter, we were delighted to be advised of their new wine selection and settled...More

The food was fresh and delicious. The breakfast and smoothies were terrific. However, the friendly welcoming atmosphere made it truly special. I highly recommend Raison D’etre.

We just wanted to grab a bite and go between two museums. We did not expect too much but I was so surprised to see the bread and scrabble egg was so small. It’s listed together with another dish we ordered.

Came here after spending time at the museums. Food was delicious and good value for money considering how close you are to tourist attractions. Wasn't too busy when we went and service was lovely. Would recommend here if you are looking for lunch or a...More

South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque
white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's
easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with
superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and
Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely
child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to
mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall)
such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming
