Really great food & service!!! The fish was very tasty & the mushy peas were so good! Very clean & the staff was friendly.
This spot is the perfect authentic hole in the wall place! The fish was the flakiest cod we have ever had. Will recommend to all of our friends for their trips to London.
Used to be my favourite fish and chip shop. I was expecting to get the usual cod and chips but was given HALF the fish at the SAME PRICE I paid on my previous trip. My advise to anyone: ask. Let them know that you...want a full fish. Not half. The worst example of shrinkflation I have witnessed.More
I tried fish and chips for the first time at this place and I absolutely loved it! Both the food and the service, everything was great! can't wait to be back in London and visit this restaurant again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great fish and chips and also sea bass and salad. Large portion sizes. Fresh, tasty, not greasy. Mushy peas were good too. Definitely recommend this place if you want authentic fish and chips. Service was good too.
Very big plate of grilled sea bass, chips & salad; was very nice indeed. Service was prompt and very polite. This is a comfortable, friendly place for a solo diner.
Lovely spot in the heart of London. It made our first-ever trip to the UK very memorable. The food was great, easily the best fish and chips we've had. They were kind enough to accept the Euros that we had on hand as we hadn't...made it to a currency exchange station yet. All around, it was a great experience and we'll be sure to come back again. Wishing you guys the best from Vermont!More
Great food and fast service! Cooked fresh and reasonably price. The staff was attentive and friendly, especially my server Unal :) This was a great recommendation from our tour guide and close to many things. The flavor was great and the fish piece was big....Portion was more than enough. Would definitely recommend.More
Great spot for fish & chips. Mushy peas on the side were excellent. Would have loved to be able to wash it down with tea - but they only serve cold drinks. Their chips are a straight 10 our of 10 - absolute perfection.
This little restaurant is perfect for both eating in and takeaway, providing fresh fish and chips, as well as a variety of items on their menus. Everything is fairly priced, and quality is of paramount importance. Would highly recommend visiting this shop when in Waterloo.
I come to visit London all the way from America (NJ). And when we come here for holiday, this is my favorite go to place for fish & chips. My wife, daughter and I love their Haddock & Chips. It is perfectly battered and fried...to perfection! I am a foodie who absolutely love to travel for food and this place checks off all the boxes: great food, excellent location and friendly service. I have tried so many fish & chip places both in NYC and London, this is my favorite spot! If you want moist, flavorful and crispy fish and chips, you cannot go wrong by coming and checking this place out. I usually stay in London for 7 days in each of my visits, I usually end up here 3 to 4 times during my trip at a minimum!More
Wow! I live in the Middle East so when I visit the UK I look forward to some proper fish and chips and this did not disappoint! Being from the north of England of course I has to have mushy peas and they were perfect...👌🏻 the restaurant has a nice feel, like an old fashioned diner, oh I don’t forget the tea ☕️ best cuppa I have had since being backMore
The “Best” Cod & Chips i have eaten in a longtime. The Fish was white as snow and the chips cooked perfectly, the batter was crispy and the fish was to die for. They get their fish from the Orkneys and is worth every penny...i paid and some. The gentleman owner was proud of his products and so he should be!! I would highly recommend a visit. It was my first but wont be my last.More
We came in from Chicago for a weeklong trip and I wanted to make sure we had fish and chips at least once. This place always came up as recommended so I said let's give it a go. It exceeded our expectations! I got the...cod and my husband got the haddock, the portions are very good! What was very surprising to me was even though the fish is fried, it doesn't feel heavy. The fish is also soft and flaky, the skin too. The service was prompt and the price, in my opinion, fit with the portions. You could probably go to a cheaper fish and chip shop somewhere but I wouldn't want to, I would come straight back here every time.More
