My partner booked a table for ourselves for 5.30 we arrived a couple of minutes before only to find it was closed! We waited until 5.40 before we were able to enter. Once in the waiter was on his phone and just waved us to a table, sadly we were greeted by a nasty mouldy ceiling and a loud noice... More

The restaurant is old, dirty and very dated. There is a grubby fish tank against one wall and electrical tape holding down the carpet. The toilets are very dirty and cramped. The staff are very rude and pushy. The food is terrible and over priced. I could go on but the crowning insult was that they would not honour my... More

We had a lovely meal here 6 months ago and we were so pleased we returned yesterday. Oh! how we wish we didn't. Our drinks order was wrong. The starters meat and somosa were under cooked. Our curries which were supposed to be different sauces both turned up the same, even though I had made an allergic request my food... More

On a trip back from Hong Kong to London, I met up with 3 good friends for a drink. We decided to go to Dishoom as it has a great reputation....however the wait was over 1hr. So we googled nearby curry houses and up came Sartaj....It says 'Fine Indian cuisine' but it was terrible. Terrible reception, peeling wallpaper and masking... More

We booked a pre theatre meal for 5.30 pm but arrived ten minutes early . Despite the restaurant doors being open and the temperature outside being sub zero we were turned away from the empty restaurant being told 'we don't open till 5.30'. Despite this on returning at 5.35 we had to wait until 5.40 before they were prepared to... More

If I could rate this place with minus two stars I would. Where do I begin? First, the waiter seemed annoyed that we visited their place. The serving was slow, they forgot that we ordered extra coke (which we needed in order to swallow the food, but we get to the food in a minute) and the bill was also... More

This is one of the worst dining experiences for me in London. Food was downright abysmal - we ordered a mix grill and Aloo chaat for starters. The meat in mix grill was tough and undercooked - even the chicken which is hard to get so wrong. The Aloo Chaat was more like tasteless curried potato with some random salad... More

No words. Left after ordering the starter which was mediocre at best. Would have given this place zero rating but apparently you can't do that on Trip Advisor.

Very very poor service. The waiter was rude multiple times and was snatching the plates away. He seemed very annoyed when we stayed 2-3 minutes to finish our drinks after he cleared the plates. The food was average at best, not quite at the standard of most indian restaurants. Overall very poor service with only ok food. In a city... More
