This review may sound negative but i had to still give 4 stars based on food, as it was terrific. However this restaurant is manic. It is a small space so it is understandable they need to maximise it but My wife and i arrived and were shown to a table for 2. My wife is pregnant so it takes... More

The food in Sartaj is very good. The service we received however was quite dreadful. We arrived as a large group, and had our order taken, and everything seemed fine. But once the food started to arrive the waiter at our table became really quite unpleasant, he barged past us to get the food on the table, as there was... More

Some waiters are so rude. Someone was having problems with paying with card claiming that it was business timing, so we can pay just one or two card... and the way he told was inappropriate. So unimpressed.

A group of three of us went for an early evening meal to Sartaj yesterday. It had a buzzy atmosphere ad we are ushered to our seats by a helpful waiter. We ordered Samosas and Aloo Chat for our starters which was served very quickly. The dishes were served very attractively with a generous portion of fresh and crispy salad.... More

Food was hot and tasty and fresh made, altough the service was quite unpolite at least to non English costumers. And the waiter constantly tries to buy our powerbank, which was quite awkward...

We were diligently walking the streets of central london, App in hand, looking for some good indian food. We had already passed on a few whose menus or look just did not appeal to us. we also we not willing to wait 45 minutes for a table since there are plenty of good restaurant is this area. When we came... More

It was fine - typical industrial Indian food. Lots of misleading signs out in the front promising low-priced meals, only to find they are lunch-time and pre-theatre prices. I ate a vindaloo, it was exceedingly hot (I wasn't expecting otherwise). But it was overpriced, and nothing great

We arrived at this restaurant at 7.00pm and explained we had a 7.30pm show, the staff responded to this fabulously. They suggested meals that were quick and easy to prepare and our food was on the table within 10 minutes. The food itself was plentiful, hot and tasty. Although this was a quick "in and out" visit we were impressed... More

The fact this place was quiet should of rang alarm bells with us, sadly it didn't. There was only one other table in but we were shown to a table shoved in the corner near the door that wasn't even set, we even had to request napkins. We went for the pre theatre menu which was excellent value. Both of... More
