We used to love this place, the food was delicious, plentiful and affordable. Unsure what has happened, but our mixed platter was almost half the size, £10 per person dearer, once we paid the service charge. We had such tiny pieces of lamb shish that...they were overcooked and dry; Literally one piece cut into four cubes and served as a portion. Half of the lamb ribs were no larger than a little finger. I cannot recommend and probably will not go back again either.More

Went there after it was recommended by a friend, and it was great. The food was hot and cooked to perfection. Delicious. Good portion sizes with great quality. Will be back soon.

My good friend lives in Stoke-Newington, a largely Turkish neighborhood in London. He brought me to an Anatolian ocakbasi restaurant (I had never heard of either word) called Testi. WOW. Beside the reeally great atmosphere and amicable service, they have a Lamb Shish that will...knock your socks off....It is all I can ever get myself to order. This was the 'go to' Turkish restaurant for us last year. Worth the 80 mile round trip to visit it. But what a difference three to four months make. The owners have clearly decided to head downwards and cut corners to counter inflation. The bread,...previoysly a delicacy in itself is only a couple of millimetres thick now with the result it burns easily. 50% of our slices were charcoal 😕 Expensive ingredients reduced with salad and rice used to hide the lack of meat. Mixed grill for one not worth it I'm afraid. Drink prices hiked up. £7 for half a pint of Efes draft lager. Total bill nearly £80 for two what last year was low £50s, max £60. Not worth the money with service of 12.5% to watch the staff having a good chat and being unattentive. Depressed at having to trek back 40 miles now after such a disappointing evening. 😔More

I ordered Testi for an event I hosted in London. The staff came super early to help set up and were so helpful -- the food was amazing, and everyone was raving about it! This was a mainly veggie friendly event but I've also tried...the meats in restaurant and they're amazing! Thank you so much Testi team - would 100% recommend using them for events or dinners or just popping by if you get a chance. This restaurant is A star ⭐️ the food is fresh, full of flavour and there is plenty of it. The salad is amazing and so tasty. The bread is so moreish it’s seasoned and nice hot. The Turkish tea was very nice, we had a...few cups each. They have a children menu too. We didn’t have the dessert, our stomachs was full. The food is so filling we took some home. The staff are welcoming, nice, kind and very helpful as well as professional people. Loved the atmosphere. The doors open right out at the front of restaurant to outside which has tables and chairs for eating outside. The restaurant is spotless high end clean, everything clean cutlery, glasses and plates. Toilets kept clean and tidy with mellow music. My family and I will be going to the restaurant again, that’s for sure.More

Great people, staff, food and the atmosphere generally! The staff member Elif and Leyla were very kind and patient with us and warm hearted and again the food was mouth-watering and the drinks were cooling and refreshing!

Went for the first time in years for my birthday after waxing lyrical about it to my friends. Did not disappoint - great service, incredible food and great vibes all round.
