Just a short block south of the British Museum on Coptic Street, the Konaki Greek Restaurant is one of those family run restaurants where guests are made welcome and service is prompt and excellent. We enjoyed a pre-theatre, three course meal from the set menu of soup, a main and desert. The lentil soup, souvlaki and moussaka choices were well... More

This was the real deal near the British Museum. The lamb we had was the best we had ever tasted and the atmosphere was lovely. What made it really special was the personal attention of the owner who went out of his way to make us feel welcome and even shared a special dessert wine which he said was "on... More

What a lovely place to eat. The food was really delicious and very reasonably priced. What makes this place shine is the service- the staff could not be better. Thank you for a lovely evening. Mum says the best lime and soda she has ever had!

Great place near to the British Museum. We just stumbled upon Konaki quite late in the evening after seeing a show and were really happy we did. All the classic Greek dishes were present plus a few you only tend to find in the Greek islands. Would definitely return

Just a little way away from the British Museum,Konaki was a great find! The menu, the food and the service are good. It costs us £44 for two without alcoholic drinks.

Found this Restraunt while on a trip to London with my wife and two sons. Customer service was superb with a very warm welcoming from the chef. The food was brilliant. The wife and boys rated it as the best meal they've had in a Restraunt for years.! I have since recommended it to many friends who have enjoyed an... More

Sixteen of us celebrated a retirement at the Konaki and went for the mezes menu. Loads of tasty food that just kept coming, accompanied by very nice Greek wines - those drinking red really liked the Othello. A lively atmosphere and friendly service. The perfect venue. Everyone loved it.

Stumbled upon this restaurant and decided to have lunch. 2 course meal for £11.00 was excellent value for money. We had Tzaziki and taramosalata with warm pitta to start, followed by moussaka and lamb souvlaki with flavourful orzo and salad. House red very good as were the espressos. Service excellent and nice relaxed atmosphere. Would return

Visited here with a group of friends last Friday night. Service was excellent and most of the food was very good. The starts we shared were authentic and delicious and my Kleftiko was all I could have wished for, very tasty. Just one glitch, my wife's liver main course was not the best, she is a lover of Greek food... More

Visited as part of a group of nine celebrating a colleague's retirement. Food was really good - nicely spiced and very tasty. Overall we spent about £35 per head (including drinks & tip) which wasn't bad for three courses in central London. I did feel a bit cramped, and the bench seat agains the the right hand wall (as you... More

Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum.
