Nice little Greek restaurant. Food is good although some of the mains were lacking in side dishes. Good service. Nice atmosphere.

This place is just round the corner from the British Museum, but the feel is very much like a traditional Greek restaurant. It has a really nice atmosphere and the food is good and good value, as is the wine. Its pretty cosy inside and the service can be a bit slow but, with London dominated by chain restaurants, glammed... More

I expected some amazing food from the place, my expectations have been set high by the reviews and by a different Greek restaurant I have been to. Unfortunately, the reality did not live up to my expectations. The portions are tiny, I walked out hungry. The dishes taste like they have been re-heated (multiple?) times and the meat was very... It is a place definitely worth a culinary visit. Lovely, unpretentious atmosphere with good service. Great, authentic food and decent wine list to make your day.

Just a short block south of the British Museum on Coptic Street, the Konaki Greek Restaurant is one of those family run restaurants where guests are made welcome and service is prompt and excellent. We enjoyed a pre-theatre, three course meal from the set menu of soup, a main and desert. The lentil soup, souvlaki and moussaka choices were well... More

This was the real deal near the British Museum. The lamb we had was the best we had ever tasted and the atmosphere was lovely. What made it really special was the personal attention of the owner who went out of his way to make us feel welcome and even shared a special dessert wine which he said was "on... More

What a lovely place to eat. The food was really delicious and very reasonably priced. What makes this place shine is the service- the staff could not be better. Thank you for a lovely evening. Mum says the best lime and soda she has ever had!

Great place near to the British Museum. We just stumbled upon Konaki quite late in the evening after seeing a show and were really happy we did. All the classic Greek dishes were present plus a few you only tend to find in the Greek islands. Would definitely return

Just a little way away from the British Museum,Konaki was a great find! The menu, the food and the service are good. It costs us £44 for two without alcoholic drinks.

Found this Restraunt while on a trip to London with my wife and two sons. Customer service was superb with a very warm welcoming from the chef. The food was brilliant. The wife and boys rated it as the best meal they've had in a Restraunt for years.! I have since recommended it to many friends who have enjoyed an... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
