This restaurant is a little gem, tucked away in the heart of Westminster. Delicious food... we chose smoked salmon /salted cod balls/calamari and beetroot salad for starters, cold roast beef / roast lamb for mains and a strawberry parfait / rhubarb gel for pudding. Very...More

We had a reservation for dinner at 7:30 on Monday. We dressed in coats and ties just because we wanted to. We arrived early and the Host Beata gave us the choice of having a drink in the bar or going immediately to the table...More

Ate in the restaurant last night - aperitif in a comfy chair in the bar, good buzzy atmosphere, really delicious sea bass with tomatoes on the side - I was naughty and added a few chips! Tasty ice-cream with interesting choice of flavours ... Well...More

A nice quiet classy restaurant. Reasonably priced. Menu and quality of the food is consistently good. Service is very variable. Not many waiting staff around and they need to listen more when taking orders or providing service.

We ate at Shepard's on a recent visit to London. The atmosphere was decidedly British and the restaurant was spotlessly clean and neat. Both the service and food were excellent. One of our best meals in London.

Booked a table as it was close to the Tate Britain (2 min walk). Very friendly efficient staff. Good food but could do with a larger vegetarian menu although the veggie food was good.

I ate here as part of a large group of around 20 people, in the private dining room (with drinks in the main bar area first). Nice to have a cloakroom on arrival. The lighting is beautiful and the music subtle. No bitter or pints...More

If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a
grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to
start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster
Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square,
and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham
Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just
up the road as well. As captivating as the
architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are
