Whilst this was a delivery, I think the quality has really gone down hill. Puri which used to be small, brkwn were large yellow and excessive oil! Dhal makhni wasnt creamy and felt tastless and watered down. V disappointing.

We would recommend this fantastic restaurant to anyone that enjoys good food! We regularly eat Indian street food and this is the best we’ve had yet. Try the onion bhagis, and don’t miss out on the fantastic lamb dishes. Best value for money in London,...and definitely the nicest service! 5 stars all round!More
Delicious food in a simple setting. Lovely small little restaurant, dishing out superb curries, we were a large ish group so tried a lot off the menu and everything was good. Loved tandoori platter for starters, coconut rice, the gosht and a nice Dahl on...the side. And it is also bring your own!More
Tiny but amazing. I was looking for something to eat in the area and I saw the brilliant reviews. Not disappointed at all!! The food is very cheap to be in London and delicious. Every dish was plentiful and I loved it. They were also...very nice.More
We were taking a late-night walk and wanted to grab a bite, we tried ordering the tandoori and the staff told us it is not enough for a dine-in service and we had to order more. We tried adding some kind of Paneer with a...final total of 18.5 pounds. However, they brought the food in a takeaway packing and said we had to leave the place because our order was not much. We were two adults and did not want to have a large meal late at night and the restaurant was not even crowded and had plenty of empty tables but we were literally kicked out of the place for not ordering enough. Opening the packaging we found a very small portion of food for 15 pounds. Very offensive, rude, and impolite. Do not suggest even if you are starving and about to pass out!More
Disappointing experience at Dhaba. Booked a table for two and received an email confirming the booking. When we arrived, the restaurant was quiet - just two tables taken - but were told that our booking was cancelled because they had a party coming in. They...suggested a table 2.5 hrs later or a takeaway, but we were ready to eat then and quite frankly if you're looking forward to a night out in a restaurant, the alternative of sitting in a hotel room with a takeout just doesn't cut it. The staff claimed they had sent an email to let us know, but no email has appeared (and yes, I've checked the spam folder many times). We can only assume that the temptation of a last-minute group booking was too good to resist so we were ditched. Not very professional and not really how a decent restaurant should operate. Beware, you confirmed booking is not what it seems!More
Lovely cosy restaurant, well decorated, good atmosphere. Food was really nice. We ordered the bhel puri for starters which was nice. For mains we had the lamb kalabhuna and tandoori platter, alongside a side of pulao rice, all of which were lovely. Staff were nice...and friendly.More
Came here for dinner, had chicken kadu and the other half had chicken biryani. Everything was delicious and the staff were friendly. The atmosphere was lovely.
As a British Asian myself, I found the concept of dhaba style food completely brilliant, and I was very excited about my home visit. We ordered: railway lamb, pulao, meat thali, keema pav, pani puri, bhel puri and peshwari nan. My partner and I loved...the food. However, I thought the railway lamb was too salty which didn't allow me to taste the spices. Also, I thought the white chicken korma (which, strictly speaking, is more festival food rather than dhaba cooking) was way too sweet verging on pudding. White chicken korma is Mughlai/Laknawi cuisine, and a staple of Bengali festival food. As a Bengali myself, I was looking forward to this more than the other dishes as I wanted to compare it with my own and my mother's recipes. It was very disappointing. The pani puris were delicious, but I prefer them to come prepared or, at least, with the hole in them. I broke two lol. Overall, though, this could just have been an unfortunate evening as the restaurant has achieved very high ratings. Two of my other friends have also visited this restaurant, and they gave it very positive reviews. So, on that basis, I would recommend. I just hope they hold back on the salt and reduce the sweetness of the korma. I would much rather taste cardamoms and nutmeg in a much thicker yoghurt sauce, which is how we Bengalis cook white chicken korma. The restaurant is very good value for money, and has a very cosy vibe. I would recommend early week outings if you prefer a quiet time. I can imagine it gets crowded at the weekend.More
A very cozy place with a delicious indian meals. Super nice staff, excellent food and the best naan we have ever had. Worth visiting!
Three of us dined at the restaurant Yesterday .. we are seasoned spice fanatics however the food is on a different level for flavours and quality …. Wonderful friendly service Exquisite food I had minced lamb bun and the fish curry truly delicious I will...return !!! Soon I hope !! Worth the detour to find !!More
I prefer restaurants like this that replicate the home cooking vibe. I always go lamb curry when going for Indian food but based on my starter, I think the vegetarian dishes might be better and I’ll try those next time. Having chapati instead of naan...was a nice change. Enjoyed the railway lamb dish but a tad salty. Mopping up the gravy and swigging a cobra (BYOB) was lovely. Prawn curry was solid, not a huge fan of the gravy taste but it’s still well made. It was quite humid so turning on the fans would have been nice. I managed to walk in on a Saturday evening which was surprising given so few seats available. I think they must get a lot of takeaway orders. No real push for service charge though I think that is represented in their relaxed service. My overall experience and for the price point, is a 4.5 hence why I’m not giving it 5.More
Terrible service. Insisted we order mains before we had ordered entre. Food was really bad. Would not recommend this restaurant
Since this opened a few months ago I have been back 3 times with friends and family . It has the atmosphere of a modern restaurant /bar and serves delicious Indian Street food and fabulous cocktails. You’d normally have to go to Southhall in London...to experience this kind of cooking and quality . Highly recommended and I believe they’re on to a winner here .More
The flavours were so good especially the onion bhaji which was crispy and flavourful! The tikka masala was good and did have of a spice to it so perhaps if you prefer milder stuff you might want a korma. However I loved it and would...definitely recommend! Amazing place a hidden gem!More
