We booked this restaurant for my husbands birthday prior to going to the theatre. Despite them being exceptionally busy the staff were attentive, pleasant and did so much to make the birthday meal special. The food was good and came to the table at the right pace. The location is ideal if you are going to one of the theatres... More

We ate here recently, and it was a bit of a mixed bag with slow service. We opted for the set menu and ordered the mushroom brioche and eggs florentine, both of which were good although the service was a bit slow. The slow service continued and the first round of mains brought to our table were wrong. These were... More

Excellent location, great varied menu at a reasonable price. Service was attentive but not intrusive, well worth a visit.

The food here was really good and plenty of it. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. We went back the next day for breakfast, not disappointed. Only criticism was the tables are quite close together.

Cote is a chain but it's better than most chains in our experience. There is usually a decent choice of specials and the tried and tested choices are pretty reliable. We sat outside, although there is work going on right outside on the street, so it is not the best view at the moment. But we were not forgotten and... More

It's really quite hard to fault Cote for the price. The fixed lunch deal is really good, and if you are in the rewards programme you may get a half decent bottle of wine thrown in. Three of us had a great lunch with wine, either 2 or 3 courses for some, for less than £50, with good food and... More

It's difficult to warm to a place when it's nearly empty and the service still takes an age. And then when you and 4 people around you get the wrong order or starts to head into Fawlty Towers territory. Lack of training or management ? A shame

warm atmosphere, attentive service, honnette cuisine, ample portions and a very pleasant kir to start. I had calimari followed by fish soup which was very pleasant but not to rival fish soup in south of france.

Description
Our inspiration for the food and design of Cote is a modern interpretation of the many famous bistros of Paris. Inspired by new trends, we are dedicated to serving authentic classic brasserie dishes with a modern twist, using high quality produce at great prices. On the menu, guests will always find brasserie favourites on our a la carte menu such as steak frites, moules marinieres, corn-fed chicken from rural Brittany and tuna Nicoise, for dessert, Cote's creme caramel and creme brulee are much-loved house specialities.
Seasonality and Cote's commitment to sourcing high-quality ingredients results in a monthly changing specials menu, ensuring there is always something new to delight regular guests and gastronomes alike, as well as the excellent value set menu. Open early every day for breakfast, through to lunch and dinner; Cote's atmosphere is informal and friendly.
