Been here many times it is excellent if you are visiting Covent or some of the theatres. Food is very good would recommend the Madrid pizza or the Duck one. Food is usual prices but found the alcohol a bit over priced especially the cocktails which are small. Can get busy so may need to book. Also do not like the fact they add a service charge of 12-15% we always leave a tip but like to decide how much we are going to pay depending on the service received, I do not think you should be told how much you are going to pay!

Food was okay (fairly mixed, some good, some poor).Staff were friendly but over stretched. Drinks came very slowly, in dribs and drabs. One meal was undercooked, one cold. We were a big party - 12 of us - but they had several large parties in. The disappointing element was that they claim to cater for gluten free, and we had coeliacs in the party. Not a big issue in the sense that they had GF options but three dishes out of a large menu hardly counts as catering for gluten free. No GF pizza option, very unusual in pizza places nowadays. Wouldn't go back

After day of shopping with my teenage son needed somewhere to feed him and enjoy cocktail for me. Fire and Stone was perfect. Very friendly welcome - we hadn't booked. Good service. Good menu choice without being too extensive. Ordered Melbourne Pizza, carbonara pasta and lemon tart to finish - all really tasty. Mojita delicious. Able to use taste card so added bonus of 50% discount off of food. Great buzzy atmosphere. Would definitely return.

We ate here on Saturday, 2 adults and 2 kids. The food was ok, nothing amazing but perfectly edible. However the service was truly awful. I wouldn't normally let this bother me so much but our waitress was so unbelievably miserable. She did not smile once, she was clearly not interested in being helpful and didn't want to engage with her customers. In fact it felt like if we asked for anything it was just an inconvenience for her. I asked a couple of questions on behalf of my daughter and if looks could kill, therefore making us feel very uncomfortable. I asked if the salad could come with no dressing, to which she sharply replied that it doesn't come with dressing, well apparently it does as that's how it came out to us! When the bill came and had a 12% service charge automatically added we requested it be removed. This is the first time we have ever done this but I am not paying extra to be made to feel so uncomfortable whilst eating lunch. I would not eat here again with this type of service considered acceptable.

Came here for a pre-theatre lunch on Saturday and was not disappointed. Our booking was at 12 so it was very quiet when we first got there (we were one of 2 or 3 tables) but it didn't take long for the restaurant to pick up. By the time we left every table was full but that never stopped the service from being great. They were just as attentive with a full restaurant as they were when we first got there. We chose from the set menu which was great value for money and the portions were very generous. I would highly recommend this restaurant and wouldn't hesitate to return.

We reserved a table ahead and went as a family pre-theatre on a busy Thursday evening. From the moment our server arrived at our table her vibe was one of disinterest with an attitude that continued throughout our meal. A glass of coke had ice up to the top so after three sips, it was gone so we asked if we could have some more with less ice but were told that 'that is how it is served here' and that she would have to speak to the manager. When the food arrived the pizzas had a lovely tomato sauce but virtually no cheese and the burger was dry. We asked for ketchup and it took nearly 10 minutes to arrive. So it was not a positive experience unfortunately. With so many amazing places to eat in London, we won't be back.

My wife, 19 month old and I had lunch here earlier today and I have to say what outstanding service we received. All the staff we spoke to were very friendly and also great with our little one. Everyone always seems quick to complain these days when things aren't up to standard, but this was a fantastic lunch experience from start to finish. The staff here really are a credit to the company and I hope the management are aware of that. The food we had was also very good, we had pizza for main and patatas bravas and arancini to start, all of it was delicious. We will definitely return and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a family lunch.

Monday lunchtime so wasn't expecting the restaurant to be very busy but just the two of us for the whole time we were there. Food below average. Classic burger over cooked and the fries under cooked. Chicken burger dry and bland. Calamari as a starter ok but portion a bit on the small side. Despite being the only customers we still had to chase a drinks order. Maybe should have kept to the pizza but won't be going back to find out .

We have been coming to fire and Stone for a good few years now and have always loved it. Visited this week and have to say wasn't as good as usual. Staff not as good or as friendly seemed a bit off at times and didn't know their stuff as well. Food was nice but nothing special which is a shame. Hope it's just a one off and not going off all together

We came today to the Fire and Stone restaurant to have lunch, it was the first time for all of us and it was such a good discovery. The decoration is really nice, such as the food. We had sharing platter which was good and pretty big, we shared it between the three of us. We all had pizzas. But what really made our day is the lovely service provided by Tyla. She was very polite, professional and nice. We recommand this place and we would come back for sure.

Have visited Fire & Stone many times and had a great experience recently. Spent the evening there with a couple of friends and the service was superb. Between us we had the trio of dips starter, two pizzas and a pasta. It's as good as it has always been and I will certainly be back.

Came here in March and it's lovely inside. The atmosphere is good, it got super busy quite quickly and the staff were attentive. I had the burger, my friend had a pizza, the food was pretty great. Would definitely come again.

Start with the positives, our waiter was pleasant and efficient, and our bottle of wine was fine, We booked in advance and arrived on Sunday evening, the restaurant was empty, not a good sign, but we came a few years ago and enjoyed our food so we decided to stay, to be honest I wish we hadn’t, Starters came out very quickly, as they included chicken and calamari, maybe a little too quickly for my liking, they were passable, Pizzas were bland, too crispy and not how we remembered them from before, maybe one of the reasons it was empty, With our tastecard the bill came to around £60, had a much better meal the evening before for slightly cheaper elsewhere, Should’ve trusted my instincts and left when we saw how quiet the restaurant was, we won’t be giving it a third visit.

As usual, great food, great cocktails, and a great atmosphere! The waitress who served us was super friendly and very accommodating, especially to my daughter. Only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because it was quite cold due to the breeze coming in from the doors
