Modern design meets traditional Indian virtues and the result is a marvellous marriage of the two. This smart restaurant is very contemporary, kitted out in spicy orange and regal purple with lovely decor all around. The dishes have been slightly modernised, but only in the sense that we're all eating more heathily these days, so fat content has been lowered and fewer artificial colourings are in use. The food is delightful, spicy and fresh and winning. In fact, you will probably find yourself surrounded by purring regulars on your first visit. Dishes include the classics you love, like lamb tikka, samosa, onion bhajia, tandoori specialities, special duck dishes, classic chicken tikka masala,

Just popped in for quick takeaway. Still treated like a king. Got back to hotel and tasted the yummiest curry. Prawn puri starter and balti with a kick. You love curry you must come here

Food was good, fast and reasonably priced. Restaurant was bijou. Service was adequate with the only negative the pacing of the floor by the waiters.

Had dinner here. Pleasant surroundings. Service adequate. Prices not low end but still reasonable. Food was not particularly interesting. I would expect finer seasoning in such a restaurant. The samosas were dull. Rest of meal was okay. There are better places to eat.

Millbank Spice Restaurant on the Vauxhall Bridge Road near Pimlico Station looks relatively inviting, although when we passed its quite big premises at about 8.00pm mid-week, there were only, give or take, half a dozen occupied tables. Not a great sign!! Anyway we persevered. The...More

Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than
most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely
residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames,
is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle
architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art
lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class
Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art
from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and
